SUPER TEXTURE
This Spring sees us delving deeper into Super Texture – the name that we gave to our first collection
of textiles. Continuing our exploration into the construction of cloth we dive deep into the weave,
the knits and the knots, we add colour and extra texture, and we start some adventures in print, in
embroidery and in the hand tufting and looping of wool.
ABSTRACT
Abstract is the name we are
giving a pair of cushions made
using techniques from the rug
and carpet industries. Thick,
woolly, harder wearing and
generally more substantial than
most cushions these are hand
tufted by extraordinarily skilled
craftsmen.

PAINT
Paint is a set of cushions with
a subtle painterly print of
abstracted urban landscapes
rendered onto super soft
linen mix. We commissioned
a young artist to create a set
of abstracted architectural
watercolours based on scenes
of British urbanism.

SOFT
Two new colours – Wine and
Khaki join our Soft range this
season. This series of cushions
fashioned by Dutch weavers is
composed of rare South-African
Angora goat hair historically
said to be as valuable as gold
itself. Combined with European
craftsmanship and a generous
filling of Danish duck feathers
this range offers superior pile
height, durability, and the
ultimate indulgence in comfort
and texture.

BOUCLE
Khaki and Electric Blue are
our latest to the Boucle colour
palette. We’ve made our blue
more electric, intense and
vibrant. We have also added a
military inspired khaki – a colour
that has the odd characteristics
of acting either as a neutral or
a highlight. Uncompromising
in quality, Boucle is composed
of hand-spun, hand-woven
yarn, loomed by hand in the
remote mountainous region of
Rajasthan with wool sourced
from New Zealand.

MATERIALISM
Materiality is an underlying theme in all our work, from the rawness of cast metals and precious
stone to the surface possibilities of vacuum metalised plastics or the malleable quality of
molten glass. Materialism gives an extra tactile dimension to the objects we mould, carve and cast,
creating a synergy between container and scent in Cork, Terrazzo, Stone, Alloy and Oil.

new member of the Materialism

An unconventional scent of
burnt sugar and smoky wood
permeates a raw cork vessel,
stamped with the mark of its
maker.

PASTAIO
Located in London’s Soho, Pastaio is the latest restaurant from the Stevie Parle and Design Research Studio
team. The 70 seat pasta restaurant in Soho’s Ganton Street pairs a clean backdrop of industrial materials
and a single bold wall mural. An informal dining experience, that nods towards the Italian menu with the
pastaio on show, terrazzo surfaces and colours that pop.
STONE GIFTSET
This heavyweight giftset of
six Stone candles showcases
a colour spectrum of exotic
marbles. Turned on lathes by
skilled engineers in India each
rocky, rounded heavyweight
container is unique due to the
particularities of the individual
block of marble. This forms
the optimum vessel for the
dry exotic fig and sandalwood
essence of our Stone scent
collection.

ECLECTIC
There are a series of intangibles that can be just as important in interior-design as colour,
luminosity and shape. Often, the most potent first impression and subsequent memory
of a space can be its smell. The Eclectic family of Tom Dixon scents are each contained in a
corresponding Brass, Copper and Stainless-Steel hand-spun vessel.
ORIENTALISM
Orientalist captures the faint
memory of an Indian wedding
with rose petal garlands, giant
cinnamon sticks on beach stalls
and the musky smells of the
Chinese herbal market.

The double headed vase designed for the curation of floral arrangements and micro ecosystems.
Mouthblown, each vase varies in shape, size and thickness of glass to create a truly unique vessel.

HOW TO
1. Clean the inside of the vessel to ensure there’s no
residue that could harm the plant.
2. Fill the bottom of the vessel with a 1½ inch layer of
small rocks to collect the water drainage.
3. Add a layer of potting soil made for succulents. It
should be deep enough for the plants to root to, so
roughly 2½ inches.
4. Remove the largest plant from its container and
dust excess soil off the roots. You may want to
trim the roots, so they aren’t too long.
5. Using a long-stemmed implement, make a hole in the
soil for the roots and nestle the plant inside. Then pat
the soil down firmly to hold the plant in place.
6. Plan for approximately 1 plant per inch of
container diameter.
7. Continue placing the smaller plants using this
method, trying to keep them away from the edges.
8. Clean off any excess soil around the glass of the
container and add a small amount of water.

SPIN
An industrial-strength piece of table-top engineering designed to act as a kinetic centrepiece and
produce infinite arrangements. Able to hold tea lights and taper candles with equal elegance,
the cast iron contraption takes cues from the heavyweight cantilever mechanisms of dockside
cranes and the mechanical elegance of 1950s mobiles.
