3. Remove the OLD <str<strong>on</strong>g>RAM</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

•The inside of the lap<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>p can be seen clearly now.<br />

The <str<strong>on</strong>g>RAM</str<strong>on</strong>g> must be located at the bot<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>m-right<br />

corner of the screen.<br />

•Remove the two little clips <strong>on</strong> both sided <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

withdraw the <str<strong>on</strong>g>RAM</str<strong>on</strong>g>. Be cautious so you d<strong>on</strong>’t<br />

damage anything.<br />

4. Inserting new <str<strong>on</strong>g>RAM</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

•Put the new <str<strong>on</strong>g>RAM</str<strong>on</strong>g> <strong>on</strong> an angle in<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> the slot.<br />

Ensure that the pins are aligned with the slot.<br />

•Now, push the clips <strong>on</strong> their sides <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> secure<br />

the <str<strong>on</strong>g>RAM</str<strong>on</strong>g> <strong>on</strong> its place.


5. Inserting sec<strong>on</strong>d stick<br />

•Insert the sec<strong>on</strong>d stick of <str<strong>on</strong>g>RAM</str<strong>on</strong>g> <strong>on</strong> an angel in<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

another slot while making sure that the pins are<br />

aligned again.<br />

•Now, follow the same procedure as d<strong>on</strong>e in the<br />

previous step.<br />

6. Put the back cover<br />

•Once it is d<strong>on</strong>e, put your lap<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>p back <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>gether.<br />

•Place the casing and align it <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> its place.<br />

•Screw the casing and make sure they are tightly<br />

screwed.


7. Turn <strong>on</strong> your computer<br />

•Ensure that the memory has been upgraded successfully.<br />
