you will be immersed <strong>in</strong> Ch<strong>in</strong>ese<br />
culture. Sample au<strong>the</strong>ntic food,<br />
learn calligraphy, and even perform<br />
a traditional Ch<strong>in</strong>ese song at <strong>the</strong><br />
Ch<strong>in</strong>ese New Year celebration!<br />
LUNCH<br />
Lunch is always one of <strong>the</strong> busiest times<br />
of <strong>the</strong> day at <strong>Marianapolis</strong>. Our d<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g<br />
staff is cont<strong>in</strong>ually creat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> tastiest<br />
lunches, and not to be forgotten, <strong>the</strong><br />
best desserts! Dur<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> lunch period,<br />
<strong>the</strong> College Placement office will hold<br />
a Lunch & Learn, where you can listen<br />
to a professional speak about <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
experiences <strong>in</strong> a certa<strong>in</strong> field of study.<br />

Global Governments and Politics - Are you an avid reader<br />
of <strong>the</strong> New York Times? Can’t take your eyes off of <strong>the</strong> nightly<br />
news? Global Governments and Politics focuses on current<br />
events and <strong>the</strong> political and economic climates of not only <strong>the</strong><br />
United States but several foreign countries. Whe<strong>the</strong>r you are<br />
a walk<strong>in</strong>g encyclopedia of world events or would like to learn<br />
more about what’s happen<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> world, political scientist<br />
Dr. Sembor will guide you through it with <strong>in</strong>terest<strong>in</strong>g read<strong>in</strong>gs<br />
and discussions while pos<strong>in</strong>g challeng<strong>in</strong>g questions.
