• Winner of the 2005 overall men’s NorAm dual mogul title.
• Placed 2nd overall in men’s NorAm single moguls.
• Winner of two Canadian Series events (Silver Star and St. Sauveur).
• Became the first freestyle skier to perform a double twisting flip in the 2005 Fernie NorAm where he
placed 2nd.
• Captured gold in both single and dual moguls at the 2005 Bell Canadian Championships in Mont-
Gabriel, Quebec.
• Goal for the season: To finish top-ten on the World Cup tour.
• Long term goal: Win the gold medal at the 2010 Olympic Winter games in Vancouver.
• Will be working this season with former Canadian team mogul skier and head moguls coach,
Dominick Gauthier, who is also coaching team-mate PA Rousseau.
• Considers his dad the most influential person in his life.
• Prior to last season, Bilodeau competed in both aerials and moguls, and showed promise as a
talented aerialist as well. Upon joining the National Development team program, Alex chose to
pursue a career in moguls.
• Believes his greatest accomplishment to date was winning the 2003 Junior National Championships
in single and dual moguls, as well as aerials.
