Central India has many renowned
ample opportunity to spot tigers,
gaur, nilgai and chital.
Gir National Park, in West India, is the
only home of the Asiatic lion and is
considered to be one of the most
important protected areas in Asia.
Ranthambore National Park, in
Northwest India, is one of the best
places in India to spot big cats, and
Periyar National Park, in South India,
is an important elephant and tiger
reserve.
WHY TRAVEL WITH JTI?
Simply put, with many years of
experience comes not only
improved services and excellent
client feedback but also an
extremely detailed knowledge of the
land.
In Eastern India, we employ our own
naturalists, spotters and guides,
which means that you can be sure
of receiving the highest level of
service that has been vouched
and vetted by us. All of our clientfacing
employees (including your
tour vehicle drivers) are young men
and women who have grown up in
villages near the national parks
and wildlife sanctuaries or the
adjoining region. Whilst some were
experienced naturalists and guides
before joining JTI, many have been
trained by us to become the best in
their fields.
JTI is also conscious of the damage
that tourism - unless checked and
conducted properly - can have on a
place and its residing community. We
follow responsible tourism
practices and engage partners in
other areas of India who lead their
operations with the same ethos.
Just as we have done in our 29 years
of operations, JTI will continue to go
to great lengths to ensure that your
experience in India is a memorable
experience .
