Depending upon interest, capabilities, and goals, and with<br />

Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in Computer Engineering/Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in Computer Science<br />
Students interested in this program should consult a<br />
Department <strong>of</strong> Computer Science adviser. Freshmen<br />
entering IIT with a significant number <strong>of</strong> advanced<br />
Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in Computer Engineering/Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in Electrical Engineering<br />
Students interested in this program should consult a<br />
Department <strong>of</strong> Electrical and Computer Engineering<br />
adviser. Freshman entering IIT with a significant<br />
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree Options<br />
IIT’s double-degree options allow students to earn two<br />
degrees in as few as five years. The university has created<br />
bachelor’s degree/master’s degree options in fields in<br />
demand in pr<strong>of</strong>essions where graduate training<br />
is essential.<br />
Students may enter some undergraduate/graduate doubledegree<br />
programs either through the honors track or the<br />
standard track. Through the honors track, exceptional<br />
students may be admitted simultaneously into both the<br />
undergraduate and graduate schools when they apply<br />

Special Programs<br />
students may choose dual undergraduate degree programs<br />
or select one <strong>of</strong> the options listed below.<br />

Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in Mechanical Engineering/Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in Aerospace Engineering/Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in Materials Science and Engineering<br />
A dual major in ME and AE, ME and MSE, or AE and<br />
MSE may generally be completed in one additional<br />
semester. Interested students should consult their adviser.<br />
Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Architecture/Master <strong>of</strong> Business Administration<br />
Qualified students may earn both the Bachelor <strong>of</strong><br />
Architecture and Master <strong>of</strong> Business Administration<br />
degrees in about six years, rather than the usual seven<br />
years. Students who are completing their eighth semester,<br />
or an equivalent <strong>of</strong> 124 credit hours, in architecture at IIT<br />
may apply for entry into the joint program. They should<br />
placement credits might be able to complete both degrees<br />
in four years.<br />

the Stuart School <strong>of</strong> Business and the College <strong>of</strong><br />
