there is in him nothing that can recommend him <strong>to</strong><br />

God. He prays for the Holy Spirit, the<br />

representative of Christ, <strong>to</strong> be his constant guide, <strong>to</strong><br />

lead him in<strong>to</strong> all truth. He repeats the promise,<br />

“The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom<br />

the Father will send in My name, He shall teach<br />

you all things.” (John 14:26)<br />

Receiving <strong>to</strong> Give<br />

The study of the Bible in our schools will give<br />

the students special advantages. Those who receive<br />

in<strong>to</strong> their hearts the holy principles of truth will<br />

work with increasing energy. No circumstances can<br />

alter their determination <strong>to</strong> attain <strong>to</strong> the highest<br />

possible st<strong>and</strong>ard. And that which they have<br />

received they will impart <strong>to</strong> others. As they<br />

themselves drink from the fountain of living water,<br />

from them will flow living streams <strong>to</strong> bless <strong>and</strong><br />

refresh others.<br />

The diligent Bible student will constantly<br />

increase in knowledge <strong>and</strong> discernment. His<br />
