wearing the yoke of Christ, daily learning of Him<br />

His meekness <strong>and</strong> lowliness. Those who are not<br />

directly connected with the school can help <strong>to</strong><br />

make it a blessing by giving it their hearty support.<br />

Thus we shall all be “laborers <strong>to</strong>gether with God,”<br />

<strong>and</strong> receive the reward of the faithful, even an<br />

entrance in<strong>to</strong> the school above.[1]<br />

Further Instruction<br />

It is not wise for a new school <strong>to</strong> lift its banner<br />

<strong>and</strong> promise <strong>to</strong> do a high grade of work before<br />

proving that it is fully able <strong>to</strong> do prepara<strong>to</strong>ry work.<br />

It should be the great aim in every intermediate<br />

school <strong>to</strong> do most thorough work in the common<br />

branches.<br />

In every school that is established among us,<br />

the teachers should begin humbly, not grasping the<br />

higher rounds off the ladder before they have<br />

climbed the lower ones. They are <strong>to</strong> climb round<br />

after round, beginning at the bot<strong>to</strong>m. They are <strong>to</strong> be<br />

learners even as they teach the common branches.<br />
