- You can exceed <strong>the</strong> submission deadl<strong>in</strong>e when submitt<strong>in</strong>g a personal statement<br />
<strong>for</strong> residency and <strong>the</strong> letters <strong>of</strong> recommendation, but <strong>in</strong> this case, <strong>the</strong> school<br />
cannot guarantee that your application will be reviewed by <strong>the</strong> committee at all.<br />
You do not need to meet <strong>of</strong> all <strong>the</strong>se criteria, but <strong>the</strong> college suggests you do, at<br />
least if you want to <strong>in</strong>crease your chances <strong>of</strong> be<strong>in</strong>g accepted.<br />
2. Ox<strong>for</strong>d<br />
- Respect<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> submission deadl<strong>in</strong>es is mandatory. O<strong>the</strong>rwise, <strong>the</strong> entries will<br />
not be processed. The same goes <strong>for</strong> <strong>in</strong>complete entries. Due to this fact, <strong>the</strong><br />
college advises you to make <strong>the</strong> necessary preparations and ga<strong>the</strong>r all <strong>the</strong><br />
needed materials <strong>in</strong> time.<br />
- You need to submit three letters <strong>of</strong> recommendation.<br />
- If you have any previous degrees, you’re go<strong>in</strong>g to need to submit transcripts <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong>m.<br />
- A cv <strong>for</strong> residency<br />
- Statement <strong>of</strong> residency<br />
Depend<strong>in</strong>g on <strong>the</strong> course you choose, you may also have to present <strong>the</strong><br />
follow<strong>in</strong>g:<br />
- GRE results<br />
- Academic written work<br />
- Portfolio<br />
Additional guidel<strong>in</strong>es:<br />
- You must submit <strong>the</strong> materials <strong>in</strong> English.<br />
- They need to be clearly legible.
- The materials need to be submitted at <strong>the</strong> same time you submit your<br />
application.<br />
3. Stan<strong>for</strong>d university<br />
- A completed ERAS <strong>for</strong>m is a must.<br />
- A Dean’s letter from your school<br />
- 3 to 4 letters <strong>of</strong> recommendation. These are specifically def<strong>in</strong>ed:<br />
1.) Cl<strong>in</strong>ical letter from any Non-Pediatrics or Pediatrics faculty member<br />
2.) <strong>Letter</strong> from Department <strong>of</strong> Pediatrics Clerkship Director<br />
3.) Cl<strong>in</strong>ical letter from Pediatrics Cl<strong>in</strong>ical Faculty<br />
4.) Optional: any letter you can get from a research-<strong>the</strong>med activity,<br />
extracurricular activity, and so <strong>for</strong>th.<br />
- NRMP Number<br />
- A personal statement<br />
- USMLE Score Transcript. A pass<strong>in</strong>g score is a must.<br />
- Optional: a residency cv<br />
