Top 4 Best Beef Steak Cuts

Many people go to a butcher, grocery store, or an online store to scour apparently perpetual steak choices. To ensure that a decent quality steak arrives on your dinner plate, you have to expand your knowledge into steak cuts. The grade of the steak depends on the nature of the meat based on both marbling and age. The second factor is the cut. The correct cut of steak makes your grill better.

Steak Cuts

Porterhouse
This specific steak is viewed
as the "king" of steaks mainly
because it's actually two
steaks in one. On one side
you have a New York strip,
and on the other is a fairly
vast filet mignon. The
porterhouse is a thicker cut
and has substantially more of
the tenderloin with respect to
the loin portion. It comes best
when grilled, yet can likewise
be sautéed, cooked, or
panfried.

T-Bone
This steak is named after its
T-formed bone. It's similar in
appearance to the
porterhouse, yet with a little
bit of the filet mignon side. T-
bone steaks are sliced nearer
to the front and contain a
little area of tenderloin. They
are best grilled or seared to
medium temperature; the
meat close to the bone tends
to cook more gradually than
different parts of the steak.

Filet Mignon
This is the most delicate cut
off the cow. It's not the
tastiest steak since it doesn't
have a bone connected, yet it
can be wrapped in bacon or
presented with your most
loved sauces and spices. In
France, this cut is called 'filet
de boeuf', which means beef
filet. It can be grilled or
broiled, however, make sure
to cook this slice quickly to
seal in all the decency.

New York Strip
This is a staple and exemplary
at any great steakhouse. It
has an astounding measure of
marbling, is delicate and full-
seasoned. Universally it is
known as a "club" steak. In
the United States and
Canada, it is known as New
York strip, strip loin, shell
steak, or Kansas City strip
steak. The New York strip
steak is perfect for grilling.
