OUR STORY<br />
Mark and Nick met over thirty years ago at Worthing sixth<br />
form college. Whilst studying at Chichester College and<br />
co-running a quaint local bistro, the duo dreamt of one day<br />
running their own business.<br />
After a busy Saturday night, naturally over a bottle of wine, the<br />
eighteen year olds agreed on the name <strong>Maricks</strong>. Thirty years<br />
later they’ve made this dream a reality.<br />
<strong>Maricks</strong> brings an experienced and powerful combination of:<br />
Mark, a creative entrepreneurial multi-site operator within<br />
hospitality, retail and leisure markets.<br />
Nick, a commercial, client facing sales guru with an<br />
enviable reputation in business to business contractual<br />
negotiations and client retention.

Mark has held numerous executive roles for major<br />
players in the hospitality and retail world, such as<br />
Marks and Spencer, Virgin Active and Geronimo<br />
before going alone in 2015.<br />
Mark has a wealth of experience in the eating out market<br />
specialising in operational business management<br />
and leadership.<br />
Mark has a logical and creative mindset, underpinned with<br />
a competitive edge and a winning mentality.<br />
NICK CLEGG<br />
Having cut his teeth in the commercial world with<br />
Forte, at Wheelers of St James’ and Gardner Merchant, Nick<br />
has enjoyed a fast track career.<br />
Winning an Acorn award in 1999 as one of the industry’s<br />
youngest executive appointments, Nick’s focus over the<br />
last few years has been on business development.<br />
Spearheading significant contract gains with businesses<br />
such as British Airways, Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank<br />
Nick has a wealth of experience in developng innovative<br />
hospitality solutions.
