scholarships to young Nordic women,<br />

and you have the opportunity to hear<br />

from candidates! All applicants to the<br />

scholarship will be speaking about<br />

their participation in the community<br />

and their Nordic heritage.<br />

showing a series of ski-related<br />

films. Come see Intrepid Descent, a<br />

documentary about Tuckerman Ravine<br />

in New England and the history of<br />

backcountry skiing in America.<br />

The nonprofit sector’s answer to<br />

Black Friday and Cyber Monday,<br />

Giving Tuesday is a worldwide day<br />

of giving. Start your holiday giving<br />

Celebrate the Scandinavian<br />

holiday spirit by creating your own<br />

traditional tree ornaments and<br />

hanging them on our Christmas<br />

tree! Enjoy coffee, tea, hot cocoa,<br />

and St. Lucia buns. Kids and<br />

families encouraged! Teach the little<br />

ones about the holiday traditions of<br />

the Nordic countries, and support<br />

NNW on Giving Tuesday!<br />
