Kachcha Limbu, slang for underdog, is
the poignant tale of a couple and their
everyday trials in nurturing their mentally
challenged child Bachchu. Adapted
from Jaywant Dalvi’s Marathi language
novel, this 1980’s story takes us through
Mr. and Mrs. Katdare’s dilemmas and
their attempt at sanity and togetherness
despite teeming odds.
Nominated for the Award for the Best Debut Feature of a Director
