Moderator Anupama Chopra Film Critic<br />
Anupama Chopra is a critic, author and director of the Mumbai Film Festival. She has been writing about Bollywood since 1993<br />
for international publications like The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times and Sight & Sound. She is also the founder and<br />
editor of Film Companion. She has written several books on Indian cinema. She won the 2000 National Film Award for Best Book<br />
on <strong>Cinema</strong> for her first book Sholay -The Making of a Classic.<br />
Siddharth Roy Kapur<br />
Siddharth Roy Kapur is an eminent film producer, founder of Roy Kapur Films and the President of the Producers Guild of India.<br />
He is on the Board of Trustees of the Mumbai Film Festival (MAMI) and on the Steering Committee of the <strong>International</strong> Film<br />
Festival of India (<strong>IFFI</strong>). With an exceptional filmography to his credit as a producer, he has established himself as one of India’s<br />
trailblazing creative powerhouses. He has been featured on The Economic Times Top 40 Indian Business Leaders under 40 and<br />
The Hollywood Reporter Next Generation Asia Inaugural Class of Young Leaders.<br />
Ekta Kapoor<br />
Ekta Kapoor is credited with revamping India’s television landscape. She pioneered an entire genre of television content, heralding<br />
India’s satellite television boom. As the creative force behind the Company’s success, she believes in a hands-on approach in<br />
day-to-day creative direction for all their content. Under her creative guidance, Balaji has won almost every major TV award. In<br />
2016, she was placed at the No. 1 position among ’50 Most Influential Women’ in the Indian marketing, advertising and media<br />
ecosystems by IMPACT magazine.<br />
Vijay Singh<br />
Vijay Singh was appointed the CEO of Fox Star Studios India in 2008. Prior to this, he was President, Strategy and Corporate<br />
Development at Star India. Singh set up Sony Music Entertainment in India where he was responsible for setting up Sony’s Music.<br />
He has also worked with The Unilever Group, Walt Disney Consumer Products and the Tata Group.<br />

Karan Johar<br />
Karan Johar made his directorial debut at age 25 with a path-breaking love story Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The film remains a landmark<br />
in Indian cinema for the appreciation it received, both critically and commercially, in India as well as internationally. Over the last 15<br />
years, he has directed, written critically and commercially acclaimed blockbusters like Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham, Kabhi Alvida<br />
Na Kehna and My Name is Khan. The multi-faceted Karan wears many caps with ease. Besides being an acclaimed director and<br />
one of the most influential men in the industry today, Karan is also a television personality, talk show host, costume designer and<br />
the latest feather in his cap is that of being an actor. His talk show Koffee with Karan has the distinction of being the most watched<br />
English talk show on Indian television. Karan Johar has also been a mentor to many successful directors in India; releasing both<br />
commercial blockbusters like Agneepath, Dostana and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, as well as critical indie successes like Wake<br />
Up Sid and Ek Main Aur Ek Tu.
