Balakrishnan, a poor but exceptionally<br />
gifted Bharata Natyam, Kathakali and<br />
Kuchipudi dancer wants to compete<br />
at an All-India level competition. He is<br />
spotted by Madhavi a wealthy girl, who<br />
helps him prepare for the main event.<br />
Drawn emotionally close to Madhavi he<br />
decides to propose to her only to realize<br />
she is a married woman. Years pass by,<br />
Balakrishnan takes to drinking heavily.<br />
Yet, again he is brought out from his<br />
drudgery by Madhavi when she requests<br />
