She has also worked with Indiavision, first news channel in Malayalam and as a chief producer with TV Channel Jaihind & Jaihind Middle East. She won 20 prestigious awards including 2 National Awards and 7 Kerala State Awards for her documentaries. She has been a jury member on FFK International Film Festival and the 28th <strong>Indian</strong> Panorama-<strong>IFFI</strong> jury. She has worked as Assistant Director for a Kamal Hassan film under the directorial guidance of T. During her Masters course on Film Studies in Jadavpur University in Kolkata her interest for filmmaking grew and later she joined Satyajit Ray Film & TV Institute. She is a National Awardee for Best Editing for her work in her film-school diploma Germ. Tinni came to Bombay in 2009. Her first feature film Mumbai Cha Raja went to Toronto International and Abu Dhabi Film Festival. Her film as editor The Seventh Walk directed by Amit Dutta was the Closing Film of <strong>Cinema</strong> XXI section, Rome Film Festival, 2013. Based on the works of <strong>Indian</strong> painter Mr. Paramjit Singh, this film was also selected in Documentary Fortnights by Museum of Modern Arts (MOMA) in 2014. Tinni has edited documentaries produced by PSBT and Films Division and ITVS. His film Aamaar Katha: Story Of Binodini, based on the legendary Bengali actress Binodini has received two Rajat Kamal Awards for Best Biographical and Historical Reconstruction film and Best <strong>Cinema</strong>tography (Non-fiction) at the 62nd National Film Awards, 2014. He has also received the Golden Conch for the Best Fiction film and the Best Film of the Festival award in MIFF, for Midnight Bioscope and the Silver Award at the 11th <strong>Indian</strong> Documentary Producers’ Award for Excellence for City Within The City a PSBT documentary.
