Sudhir Mishra is an internationally renowned film director and
one of the pioneers of alternative independent cinema movement
of India. He started as an assistant director and co-writer in
Kundan Shah’s cult classic comedy Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. He’s
won National Awards for his directorial debut, Yeh Woh Manzil To
Nahin and Dharavi. Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, his most talked
about film has already achieved cult classic status. His illustrious
career spanning 3 decades has not only been recognized by the
Government of India but also by the French Government in the
form of Ordre des Artes et des Lettres, the french equivalent of
Knighthood.
