Namya is a gullible man whose pilgrim<br />
trip takes an unexpected turn when<br />
his mother claims the Goddess has<br />
appeared in her dreams and demanded<br />
an animal sacrifice for the betterment of<br />
his life. She is adamant that he fulfil the<br />
prophecy. Namya manages to arrange<br />
the most troublesome goat in the village<br />
much to the chagrin of his mother. On the<br />
day of the sacrifice Namya finds himself<br />
conflicted between fulfilling the promise<br />
made to his mother and sacrificing his<br />

Deepak Gawade<br />
Deepak Gawade started out with TV and<br />
later ventured into films with Maqbool,<br />
Ghajini, Sarkar Raaj, A Wednesday,<br />
Once Upon A Time in Mumbai, Dirty<br />
Picture, Special Chabbees and M.S.<br />
Dhoni. He has also worked on Hollywood<br />
titles such as Darjeeling Ltd, West is<br />
West, Parched and Tajmahal. Deepak’s<br />
debut short Heyro Party won a National<br />
Film Award. Idak is his feature film debut.<br />
