10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE TIMEPIECE COLLECTION

Dear Friends, 

This year marks a very special occasion for The Timepiece 

Collection: our 10th Anniversary. We think about time every 

day in our business, but it still has the power to take us by 

surprise. It is hard to believe that 10 years have passed since 

we began The Timepiece Collection! We feel privileged to 

have been able to spend the past decade pursuing our own 

passion for remarkable timepieces as well as being able to 

share that passion with our customers. 

As we celebrate this milestone, we wanted to take the opportunity to give back to the community 

that has been supportive of us for so many years. To that end, we have partnered with several 

of our prestigious watch brands to create limited edition watch collections in support of various 

charitable organizations. In each case, the first watch in the series will be auctioned off with the 

full proceeds benefiting charity. A portion of proceeds from the sale of each subsequent watch in 

the limited edition will be donated to its associated organization. We estimate that the sales of 

these collections will generate approximately $100,000 in charitable donations and are pleased 

to support such worthy causes. We would like to extend a special thank you to Girard Perregaux, 

Hublot, Parmigiani Fleurier, and Ulysse Nardin for their partnership in creating these limited 

editions. Full details on each collection are provided in the pages that follow. 

If you haven’t stopped in to see us recently, you will want to check out our new branded shopin-shops. 

We have completed 4 and are scheduled to complete 6 more by the end of 2011. Our 

goal is to have shop-in-shops for all of our brands by the end of 2012 because it truly elevates 

the shopping experience and showcases the products in their best light. It’s the perfect way to 

experience each timepiece as the work of art it is. In the meantime, this book will introduce you to 

some of the newest and most noteworthy masterpieces from the brands we represent.

DOUBLE VISION 

When Audemars Piguet introduced its Royal Oak Offshore collection in 1992, 

it was one of the first to push the boundaries of size and set the trend toward 

oversized watches. This year, the collection has been updated with new materials 

that give it a more understated presence and added durability. Like all models 

in the collection, the Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph maintains the iconic 

octagonal bezel held in place by eight screws. The bezel is now made of glossy, 

scratch-resistant black ceramic, as are the crown and chronograph push-pieces, 

which have been updated from round to rectangular. The back of the 44mm 

18kt rose gold case unveils the true beauty of the timepiece: the calibre that controls 

the hour, minutes, seconds, and date functionality and the added chronograph 

module that handles the stopwatch function. All of the models are completed 

with black rubber strap adorned with two grooves and are water resistant to 

100m. Audemars Piguet has once again infused watchmaking tradition with a 

contemporary attitude.

ABOUT FACE 

With its new Millenary 4101, Audemars Piguet has designed a watch for those 

who truly appreciate the movement of a timepiece. The watchmakers engineered 

the structure of the new Calibre 4101 so what is usually concealed in the back 

of the case is now visible from the front. The movement hosts 12 bridges and 

is beautifully hand-finished, creating a stunning spectacle at the 9 o’clock 

position Like the other watches in the Millenary collection, this model 

retains the signature oval-shaped case. 

In this model the case is 47mm wide 

by 42mm tall – a substantial size for 

proper appreciation of the movement 

design. The offset subdial with 

applied pink gold numerals 

presents the hours and minutes 

while a smaller round subdial 

presents the seconds. The layered 

effect is visually interesting without 

interfering with visibility of the movement.

crocodile strap or pink gold with a brown

When Bedat & Co was founded in 1996, the brand immediately embraced the 

values of timelessness, sophistication and international appeal. The collections 

are identified by numbers rather than names, which allows them to be easily 

understood, translated and memorized around the world. Numbers inherently 

hold certain symbolism, with the number three representing perfection and 

totality. Bedat’s No. 3 Collection features a “tonneau” shape that is curved at 

6 o’clock and 12 o’clock. The spectacular model shown here features a solid

A RARE VINTAGE 

Bell & Ross has always designed its watches to achieve the maximum readability 

needed to assist professional astronauts, pilots and divers on their missions. The 

brand’s Vintage collection pays tribute to the aviators of the 1940’s for whom 

the wristwatch was an essential tool. All models in the Vintage collection, which 

is comprised of Vintage Original and Vintage Heritage lines, reflect the time 

period with a traditional round case and domed crystal. The Heritage line is 

differentiated by matte black anti-reflective PVD steel cases, simple sandcolored 

dial graphics that are true to period coloring, and natural leather straps 

which improve with age. The 41mm BR 126 features automatically-powered 

chronograph and date functions and water-resistance to 100m. The collection 

represents a new era for Bell & Ross, with a vintage military look that is simple, 

straightforward and timeless.

expressing time in a circle, the brand continues to innovate and master every 

complication. Its new Villeret Demi-Fuseau Horaire not only 

offers a dual time zone model but accommodates half-hour 

time zone adjustments. Blancpain has made a typically 

complex complication incredibly user-friendly thanks 

to its new Calibre 5254DF automatic mechanism. The 

wearer turns the crown to adjust time, date and the 

second time zone and operates the pusher for the halfhour 

corrections. The movement is visible through the 

sapphire case-back of its 40mm round red gold case.

INNER BEAUTY 

Presented in 2007, timepieces in the Dimier Collection are 

characterized in the BOVET catalogue by the four horns 

of their case and a crown positioned at 3 o’clock. The 

collection comprises timepieces driven by exclusive tourbillon 

movements and complications developed by the DIMIER 

Manufactory. Although it is the eighth model in the collection, 

the newest model is called “Recital 0” because it is a close relative of Recital 1. 

It marks a return to basics and the fundamental values of 

the tourbillon envisaged by Pascal Raffy when he 

assigned this project to DIMIER’s designers 

and master watchmakers. The striking design 

is without a dial so the beauty of the exposed 

tourbillon becomes the focus. The tourbillon 

cage 

is suspended between two “cradle” 

shaped bridges and measures about half the 

diameter of the movement to guarantee superior 

accuracy. The red gold case is available in either

41mm or 45mm sizes with the option of a bezel 

paved with baguette diamonds (as shown). A 7-day 

power reserve and water resistance to 30m adds to 

the functionality of this stunning masterpiece. In

CONTINUING COLLABORATION 

Less than a year after causing a sensation with the launch of the Tourbillon 

OTTANTA® developed and manufactured to mark the 80th anniversary of 

Pininfarina, BOVET 1822 continues its partnership with the famous design house 

and presents the Chronograph CAMBIANO edition 2011. The complexity 

of the multilayered, partially skeletonized dial is simplified by the 

monochromatic gray color scheme. The 45mm steel case combines 

circular satin finish and black DLC coating. The chronograph 

push pieces, positioned at 11 o’clock and 1 o’clock, are designed 

to resemble an accelerator while the chronograph seconds 

are shown via Bovet’s signature serpentine hand. BOVET 

craftsmen employed all their expertise and experience to 

accurately convey the intent of the Italian designers and create 

a dial of spellbinding technical complexity. The finished article, 

comprising 35 components on five levels, meets all design criteria 

to the letter (design, volumes, legibility and sportiness).

MAKING HISTORY 

With its 1966 collection, Girard Perregaux alludes to the prestigious Neuchâtel 

Observatory Centenary Prize it received that year for its accomplishments in 

timekeeping. The chronograph model features a simple dial with two subdials – 

one for the seconds hand and another at 3 o’clock for a 30-minute chronograph 

counter. The watch is powered by the GP30C0 automatic column-wheel 

chronograph movement, which Girard Perregaux developed and produced 

completely in-house. The Timepiece Collection is pleased to offer a special limitededition 

series of this watch as part of its 10-year anniversary, with partial proceeds 

being donated to charity. Inside the 40mm pink gold case sits an uncluttered white 

dial with gray subdials and gold hands. As the retro design trend continues, this 

model is sure to be a favorite.

the spirit of an unforgettable decade with retro styling rooted in authentic 

watchmaking traditions. The Seventies Panorama Date reflects the streamlined, 

flowing, aerodynamic design sensibility of the decade that inspired it. The 

distinctive shape of the gradated blue dial (also available in galvanized silver 

and galvanized ruthenium) and stainless steel case and bracelet are inherently 

simple yet fascinating. The bracelet is designed for ultimate comfort and easy

THE NEW BLACK 

“Rugged” may not be the immediate association one has with Harry Winston, 

but its Project Z timepieces have certainly earned that description. The case 

is made of a special metal called Zalium, a zirconiumbased 

alloy that is ultra lightweight, resilient and highly 

resistant to corrosion. An ideal watchmaking material, it 

also provides a masculine gunmetal finish. In the newest 

introduction to the Project Z series, the 44mm Zalium 

case has a black Diamond Like Carbon treatment 

that further enhances durability and creates a 

dramatic look, especially when paired with the 

black rubber strap. The Z-6 Black Edition, limited 

to 300 pieces, includes a rare 24-hour alarm function

GRANDE LUNE 

Hermes watches frequently reference the luxury brand’s equestrian heritage in 

their designs, and the Arceau Grande Lune is no exception. The Arceau watch 

gets its name from a hoop-shaped part of the stirrup. The newest model, the 

Grande Lune, is a complete calendar watch with day and month apertures along 

with a moon phase disc. Its dial, available in black or silver (shown), bears a 

herringbone motif matching the one found on saddle rugs. The moon disc at 6 

o’clock features a broad opening that reveals rhodiumed stars against a midnight 

blue background. On the back of the 43mm steel case, the automatic movement 

with the Dubois-Depraz moon phase module is visible through a transparent 

case back. Finished with an alligator strap, the Arceau Grande Lune epitomizes

THE POWER OF GREAT DESIGN 

Jean Richard has added a new complication to its Diverscope collection: the linear 

power reserve. While a power reserve indicator is not an unusual feature, Jean 

Richard has made it interesting by designing it to resemble a fuel gauge. Positioned 

at 12 o’clock, there are two letters next to the hour marker: “E” for empty and “F” 

for full. When the mainspring barrel winds, the number “12” fills up with white 

and when it is empty the numeral is unfilled. Maximum power reserve is 48 hours. 

This functionality is delivered by a new movement called the JR1010 automatic, a 

derivative of the JR1000 which powers the majority of Jean Richard’s three-hand 

watches. Set in the Diverscope’s standard 43mm case and presented on a black 

rubber strap, the black and white dial is incredibly easy to read.

Tonda Hémisphères watch exclusively for The Timepiece Collection in 

honor of the store’s 10th anniversary. The first piece in the collection will

previous versions of the Tonda Hémisphères, its distinguishing characteristic 

is a dual time zone feature in which each zone can be separately adjusted

time anywhere in the world. Two crowns control the separate time zones, and

A SEA OF INSPIRATION 

ZENITH first launched its Captain line of watches in 1952 to pay tribute to 

its early days as a manufacturer of marine chronometers. Continuing to find 

inspiration in the sea, the contemporary chronographs in today’s Captain 

collection reference the styling of the vintage models. The newest introduction is 

the Captain Winsor Annual Calendar which requires only one adjustment per 

year on March 1. With three concentric disks displaying the date, month, and 

day of the week, the asymmetrical dial adds visual interest to the retro styling. 

At the heart of the model is ZENITH’s famous El Primero movement, which 

is visible through the sapphire crystal case-back. The Captain Winsor Annual
