RESUMEN
El río Tejalpa que se encuentra en le
municipio de Zinacantepec, en la
comunidad de Acahualco baja desde
el Nevado de Toluca y traslada 16 km
aproximados al pueblo de San Pablo
Autopan donde termina.
Este se ve gravemente afectado por el
descuido de la comunidad y las
industrias que se encuentran a su
alrededor, ya que el uso de productos
domésticos es muy elevado y la
generación de desechos químicos
tiene un mal manejo. El tema del
cuidado ambiental tiene gran peso en
comunidades muy pobladas como
esta, por consecuente el trabajo de
investigación tiene un fin el cual es
fomentar conciencia ciudanía acerca
de los daños y sucesos presentes y
futuros , difundir una educación
ambiental, obteniendo un resultado
favorable en la calidad del agua y la
calidad de vida a su alrededor.

ABSTRACT
The river Tejalpa that is in the
municipality of Zinacantepec, in the
community of Acahualco goes down
from the Nevado de Toluca and moves
16 km approximately to the town of
San Pablo Autopan where it ends.
This is seriously affected by the
neglect of the community and the
industries nearby because the use of
household products is very high and
the generation of chemical waste has
a bad management. The issue of
environmental care has a great
concern about the highly populated
communities like this one,
consequently the research work has
as an aim promoting citizen
awareness about the current and
future damages and events.

We should have environmental
education, obtaining a favorable result
in water quality and quality life.

The river is located in Zinacantepec
the name is Tejalpa and it starts in the
Volcano Xinantecatl.
This river covers four kilometers in San
Pablo Autopan, because this town
needs the water to cultivate.
The Tejalapa river is polluted and we
could see much trash and house
waste. There are many plants around.
The river looks too bad, has horrible
smell and greenish color. It is
contaminated thanks to the factories
that surround it and the waste that they
throw as well as the detergents and
domestic products that go directly to
the river. The area is also cultivated so
there are too many chemicals that are
affecting it.
Two months ago we visted the river
and couldn’t go into the water because
it was really dirty.
Around the river we found animal
bones, we felt sacred about it, we took
photographs and collected a little
water sample for the chemistry
homework. It was a good experience
After the visit and the observation we
came the conclusion:
The river no longer has the same use
because of poor water quality so..
We should take care of the river, we
should also separate the trash, we
should make collection campaing, we
shoul be aware of the consequence
and we should enviromental
education.
