OKULLAR KONSEYİ
Uluslararası anlayış çerçevesinde
dünyadaki ilk ve ortaöğretim
okullarını bir araya getirmeyi
amaçlayan ECIS, bu bağlamdaki
en büyük kuruluştur. Marmara
Koleji, 1996 yılından bu yana
ECIS üyesidir.
ULUSLARARASI BAKALORYA
DİPLOMA PROGRAMI (IBDP)
1968 yılında kurulan ve uluslararası eğitime öncülük
eden Uluslararası Bakalorya Organizasyonu (IBO)
tarafından tasarlanmıştır. IB, “uluslararası” olma özelliğini
taşıyan tek eğitim programıdır. Diploma Programı,
dünyanın değişik ülkelerinde bulunan 4546
okulda uygulanmaktadır. Ülkemizde ise bu program
44 okulda ve MEB gerekliliklerine uygun biçimde
düzenlenerek başarıyla uygulanmaktadır.
“SAW” DÜNYA FEN BİRLİĞİ
“ECO-SCHOOLS”
ÇOCUKLARDA ÇEVRE UYUMU
1999 yılında Turçev’e bağlı olarak başlatılan
bu proje ile 2001’de atık konusu ile ilk
yeşil bayrağımız, daha sonra enerji konusu
ile ikinci yeşil bayrağımız kazanılmıştır.
Proje ile ilköğretim öğrencilerinde çevre
uyumunu sağlanmak amaçlanmış ve bu
projeler sürdürülebilir çevre eğitiminin
başlangıç noktası olmuştur.

THE INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE
DIPLOMA PROGRAMME (IBDP)
was designed by the International Baccalaureate Organisation
(IBO) that was founded in 1968 and that leads
international education The IB is the only program that
bears the adjective “international.” The IB Diploma Programme
is implemented in 4546 IB-accredited schools
around the world. In our country, the programme is
implemented in 44 schools successfully by arranging in
accordance with the requirements of MEB.
“SAW” SCIENCE ACROSS THE WORLD
“ECO-SCHOOLS” ADAPTATION TO
NATURE AMONG CHILDREN
This project which has been commenced
in 1999 in affiliation with TURÇEV brought
us our first green flag in 2001 with the
theme of wastes. Afterwards, we won our
second green flag with the theme of energy.
The purpose of the project is to have
the elementary school students acquire
the skill of adaptation to nature. The project
proved to be the starting point of sustainable
environmental education.
Marmara Koleji, dünya genelinde üye okullar arasında
ortak çalışmalar ve projeler üretmek üzere kurulan Science
Across The World (Dünya Fen Birliği) Türkiye üyesidir.
Marmara College is a member of “Science Across the World”
community, which carries out joint Works and projects with
member schools throughout the World.
Avrupa Birliğinin genel eğitim alanındaki
eylem programı olan SOCRATES programları
çerçevesinde Devlet Planlama Teşkilatı Avrupa
Birliği Eğitim Ve Gençlik Programları Merkezi
Başkanlığı ULUSAL AJANS koordinasyonu
ile COMENIUS Projeleri yürütülmektedir.
Bu kapsamda 2003-2004 eğitim öğretim
yılında Hollanda, İspanya, Malta, İtalya ve
Yunanistan ile ortaklaşa yürütülmek üzere
“Sistem ve Birey” adlı proje başlatılmış ve
hâlâ devam etmektedir. 2004-2005 öğretim
yılında Almanya ve Fransa işbirliği ile “Resmi
ve Geleneksel Bayramlar ve Kutlamalar” adlı
film projesi başlatılmış ve devam etmektedir.
Ayrıca 2005-2006 öğretim yılında başlayan
Yunanistan ve İtalya ile “Akdeniz’de Surf” ;
İtalya, İrlanda, Almanya ve Norveç ile ortaklaşa
olarak da “Zaman Makinesi” adlı projeler
için ULUSAL AJANS’ a başvuruda bulunulmuştur.
Ayrıca SOCRATES Programları çerçevesinde
çeşitli ülkelerde düzenlenen çeşitli
konulardaki hizmet içi eğitim kurslarına beş
öğretmenimiz katılmış ve sertifika almışlardır.
Bu katılımlar devam etmektedir.
20 Nisan 1951’de “Türk Özel Okulları Derneği”
adıyla İstanbul – Şişli Teşvikiye Caddesi,
152 numaralı adresinde, anaokulu,
ilköğretim (ilkokul, ortaokul) lise, teknik
ve yüksek derecedeki resmi okullara paralel
bir şekilde, ülke bilimine hizmet veren
özel okulların bu yoldaki çalışmalarını
daha verimli ve yararlı kılacak bilimsel,
eğitici ve yönetsel önlemleri araştırmak
amacıyla kurulmuştur. Türkiye Özel Okullar
Derneğinin günümüzde 42 ilde 1103
üyesi bulunmaktadır.
Within the scope of SOCRATES Programmes,
which is an action programme of European Union
in the field of education, COMENIUS projects
are carried out with the coordination of State
Planning Organization and EU Education and
Youth Programmes Central Directorate ULUSAL
AJANS (National Agency). Within this framework,
the “System and Individual” project was initiated
in 2003-2004 academic year with the cooperation
of Netherlands, Spain, Maltha, Italy and
Greece, and the project is still in operation. In
the 2004-2005 academic year, the film Project
entitled “Official and Traditional Holidays and
Celebrations” was initiated and the project is still
in operation. Besides, an application was made
to ULUSAL AJANS for the projects “Surfing in the
Mediterranean” in tandem with Greece and Italy
and “Time Machine” in tandem with Italy, Ireland,
German and Norway to be initiated in the
2005-2006 academic year. In addition five of our
teachers attended various In-Service Education
Courses organized in various countries as part of
SOCRATES Programmes and took their certificates.

in-service education courses
It was founded under name of “Turkish
Private Schools Association” on April 20,
1951, residing in İstanbul - Şişli Teşvikiye
Caddesi 152 with the purpose of studying
on scientific, educational and executive
measures to make the work of private
schools serving for the national science
more efficient and beneficial. Today, Turkish
Private Schools Association has 1103
members in 42 provinces.
“YRE” ÇEVRENİN GENÇ SÖZCÜLERİ
14-17 yaş arası gençlerde çevre bilincinin yerleştirilmesi ve geliştirilmesi amacı ile UNESCO tarafından desteklenen
ve uluslararası okullar birliği olan, bu organizasyona okulumuz 1999’dan beri üyedir. Amaçları doğrultusunda internet
üzerinden bilgi ve proje alışverişinin yapıldığı bu organizasyonda, Marmara Koleji öğrencileri her yıl hazırladıkları
projeleri internet ortamında sunmaktadırlar. (www.youngreporters.com)
‘FULLBRIGHT’ DEĞİŞİM PROGRAMLARI: Full-bright (Türk-Amerikan kültür anlaşması) Öğretmen Değişim
Programı çerçevesinde, Türkiye genelinde yapılan sınavlar sonucunda 2 yıl, Türkiye 1.liği ve 2.liğini Marmara
Koleji öğretmenleri kazanmışlardır.
“YRE” – YOUNG REPORTERS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Our school is a member of YRE since 1999, which is supported by UNESCO with its purpose of setting and developing
an awareness for environment among young people of 14-17 age group. Within the framework of this organization
which encourages students to exchange information and projects via the Internet in line with the purposes of the
organization, Marmara College students present their projects on the Internet every year. (www.youngreporters.com)
‘FULLBRIGHT’ EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES: Within the scope of Fullbright (Turkish-American cultural agreement)
teacher exchange programme, the teachers of Marmara College won the first and second places two years in a
row at the exams held throughout Turkey.
