AN ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY HABITAT IN TOUCH WITH NATURE
Bodrum Marmara College reflects the dynamic progress of Bodrum. Planning the future of the school, the preservation and
development of natural beauties are prioritized. There are mandarins, lemon and olive trees in the land of approximately five acres
in the campus. High-tech systems are used for water treatment in the environment friendly campus. There are recycling projects
like carried out for waste materials such as paper, plastic and glass.
AIR-CONDITIONING
The school has a central heating system. An air conditioning
system is available for cooling the training areas if necessary.
Maintenance and cleaning of air-conditioners, which work in
silence and are suitable for the allergic children, are carried
out by authorized service personnel at regular intervals.
Due to the possibility of electricity cut-outs and considering
the environment-friendly identity, the school generates
electricity that would be sufficient for the whole campus.
SECURITY
All measures are taken for the safety and security of the
students in Bodrum Marmara College.
All classroom furniture and all educational materials used in
the classroom are designed considering child safety.
The school watched via a camera system is secured and
guided by the trained security guards 24 hours. A permit
procedure has been established to allow the student to go out
of school during school hours. Parent ID cards are designed to
control the entrance.
HEALTH
There is an experienced health team in the school consisting
of a fulltime nurse and a part-time doctor employed. The
infirmary is well equipped with first aid kits in case of
emergency.
The water supplied by the electric water fountain at the
entrance of each corridor is potable. Water samples taken
periodically from the faucets are sent to the special laboratory
and sanitary laboratory for testing.
Housekeepers are employed for each corridor at the school
because the first condition to be healthy is cleaning. The
classrooms, toilets and corridors are cleaned with nonallergenic
cleaning products and constantly and strictly
controlled.
TRANSPORTATION
Students arrive at schools and homes in a peaceful
environment by well-equipped vehicles and well-trained
staff, whom families can trust mind at peace.
NUTRITION
There is a canteen that provides services for high school
students; whereas meal service at refectory is obligatory for
kindergarten, primary and middle school students.
Meals are cooked specially by the staff working at the school
by taking nutritional values, calories and allergens into
account under the guidance of the specialists.
All meals are cooked in the school and presented to the
students freshly including fruit in mornings, four-course
meal and four-course salad for the lunch and two-course
refreshments for mid-afternoon snack. In addition to these
meals, breakfast is provided for the students in kindergarten.
Bread and yoghurt, consumed daily, are made in the kitchen;
and the oil, milk and meat used is organic. Mandarins and
lemons are field to fork.
