AN ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY HABITAT IN TOUCH WITH NATURE<br />
Bodrum Marmara College reflects the dynamic progress of Bodrum. Planning the future of the school, the preservation and<br />
development of natural beauties are prioritized. There are mandarins, lemon and olive trees in the land of approximately five acres<br />
in the campus. High-tech systems are used for water treatment in the environment friendly campus. There are recycling projects<br />
like carried out for waste materials such as paper, plastic and glass.<br />
AIR-CONDITIONING<br />
The school has a central heating system. An air conditioning<br />
system is available for cooling the training areas if necessary.<br />
Maintenance and cleaning of air-conditioners, which work in<br />
silence and are suitable for the allergic children, are carried<br />
out by authorized service personnel at regular intervals.<br />
Due to the possibility of electricity cut-outs and considering<br />
the environment-friendly identity, the school generates<br />
electricity that would be sufficient for the whole campus.<br />
SECURITY<br />
All measures are taken for the safety and security of the<br />
students in Bodrum Marmara College.<br />
All classroom furniture and all educational materials used in<br />
the classroom are designed considering child safety.<br />
The school watched via a camera system is secured and<br />
guided by the trained security guards 24 hours. A permit<br />
procedure has been established to allow the student to go out<br />
of school during school hours. Parent ID cards are designed to<br />
control the entrance.<br />
HEALTH<br />
There is an experienced health team in the school consisting<br />
of a fulltime nurse and a part-time doctor employed. The<br />
infirmary is well equipped with first aid kits in case of<br />
emergency.<br />
The water supplied by the electric water fountain at the<br />
entrance of each corridor is potable. Water samples taken<br />
periodically from the faucets are sent to the special laboratory<br />
and sanitary laboratory for testing.<br />
Housekeepers are employed for each corridor at the school<br />
because the first condition to be healthy is cleaning. The<br />
classrooms, toilets and corridors are cleaned with nonallergenic<br />
cleaning products and constantly and strictly<br />
controlled.<br />
TRANSPORTATION<br />
Students arrive at schools and homes in a peaceful<br />
environment by well-equipped vehicles and well-trained<br />
staff, whom families can trust mind at peace.<br />
NUTRITION<br />
There is a canteen that provides services for high school<br />
students; whereas meal service at refectory is obligatory for<br />
kindergarten, primary and middle school students.<br />
Meals are cooked specially by the staff working at the school<br />
by taking nutritional values, calories and allergens into<br />
account under the guidance of the specialists.<br />
All meals are cooked in the school and presented to the<br />
students freshly including fruit in mornings, four-course<br />
meal and four-course salad for the lunch and two-course<br />
refreshments for mid-afternoon snack. In addition to these<br />
meals, breakfast is provided for the students in kindergarten.<br />
Bread and yoghurt, consumed daily, are made in the kitchen;<br />
and the oil, milk and meat used is organic. Mandarins and<br />
lemons are field to fork.<br />
