Extra-Curricular Activities
The student clubs are organized in the school in accordance with the students’ personal interests, abilities and their artistic,
sportive and cultural interests. All students are supposed to attend the club activities.
The school attaches great importance to its teams and supports them. The teams and groups including swimming, gymnastics,
basketball, volleyball, tennis, folk dances, orchestra, choir, chess etc. are trained after school and at the weekend by professional
trainers. Participation in team and weekend sports schools depends on interest and desire.
MUSIC
LIBRARY
Based on the life-long learning principle, the purpose of
Bodrum Marmara College Library Unit is to increase the
interest of students in reading, learning and researching to
enable them to use their knowledge competently, critically
and ethically.
The library offers a wide range of electronic collections and
services, as well as printed publications more than 15,000
and the publications in relation to the IB (Diploma Program).
In the library, there are sections for reading in silence,
research, publications and audio-visual collections.
SPORTS
Bodrum Marmara College students like succeed at many
national and international sports competitions and contests,
every field they take part.
The campus offers a wide range of opportunities in relation
to sports to the students in accordance with their age groups
including the professional physical education teachers and
various sports fields. The students have the opportunity to
play basketball, volleyball, tennis, football, to do gymnastics
and swim
Our students have chance to swim in the semi-olympic indoor
pool in both summer and winter seasons.
ART
In the school, art education is carried out in accordance with
the interest of students in the specially equipped classrooms
and in the common use areas.
In parallel with their academic lives, the students visited the
museums and exhibitions and participate in cultural events
as extra-curricular activities. The students perform ballet, folk
dances and modern danced in the dance/ballet rooms in the
school.
With the capacity on 800 audiences, Atatürk Cultural Centre
hosts many cultural events –organized by the school or otherssuch
as theatre, concert and dance. Therefore, it enriches the
artistic, cultural and aesthetic aspects of the students.
In Bodrum Marmara College, it is aimed that students shall
gain universal and national musical culture. In addition to
teaching theoretical knowledge in the music classes, students
are encouraged and supported to play a musical instrument
in accordance with their interests and skills. Through the
concerts and presentations organized by the students and
teachers together during the academic year, students are
given the opportunity to recognize prominent and leading
musicians.
The concerts are organized to provide that our students share
their live performances with the whole school community.
The school creates the opportunities for students to express
themselves in the field of music by means of with its children’s
modern polyphonic chorus and orchestra.
The school choir and orchestra support the students who
would love to develop their talents by means of the workshops
after school.
