Bodrum Özel Marmara Ortaokulunun felsefesi; Atatürkçü, demokrasiye inanan, kendi kültürünü ve diğer kültürleri tanıyan, dili iyi
kullanabilen, araştıran, sorgulayan ve sorunlara çözüm üretebilen, duygu ve düşüncelerini açıkça ifade edebilen, edindiği bilgileri
yaşam becerilerine dönüştürebilen, özgüvenli, mutlu ve duyarlı bireyler yetiştirmektir. Öğrencilerimizin sadece yaşadıkları toplumda
değil, uluslararası platformda da başarılı ve aranan bireyler olması öncelikli hedeflerimizdendir.
Bu bilinçle kurumumuz “Yaşam Boyu Eğitim” felsefesinden yola çıkarak ECIS (European Council of International Schools), CIS
(Commission of International Schools), Eco Schools, Avrupa Birliği Eğitim ve Gençlik Programları gibi organizasyonlarla ortak
projeler yürütmektedir.
Öğrencilerimizin kendilerini tanıyabilmeleri, ilgi ve yeteneklerini geliştirmeleri, planlı çalışma alışkanlığı edinebilmeleri, girişimci
olabilmeleri, grup çalışmalarına katılabilmeleri ve aldıkları sorumlulukları yerine getirebilmeleri gibi olumlu tutum ve davranışları
kazanabilmeleri hedeflenmektedir. Bu amaçla öğrencilerimiz, eğitim programımızın her aşamasında disiplinler arası geliştirilen,
çok yönlü çeşitli aktivitelerle desteklenir.
Yenilikleri takip eden deneyimli öğretmen kadrosu, öğrenciye birçok sosyal etkinlik olanağı sunabilen fiziki koşulları ve teknolojinin
en gelişmiş olanaklarını kullanan teknik donanımı ile ülkemizin ve Avrupa’nın en seçkin okullarından biri olan Bodrum Özel Marmara
Ortaokulu, 21. Yüzyılın Dünya Okulu olarak öğrenci ve velilerimiz için bir ayrıcalıktır.
The philosophy of Bodrum Marmara Private Middle School is to raise self-confident, happy, and sensitive Kemalist individuals who
are capable of using language, knowing about their own culture and other cultures, believing in democracy and who can inquire,
create solutions to problems and express their feelings clearly. And that the students are raised as individuals who are successful,
not only in the society they live in but also in the international platform, is one of our primary objectives.
With this objective and the philosophy of “Education for Life” in mind, the institution carries out joint projects with international
organizations such as ECIS (European Council of International Schools), CIS (Council of International Schools), Eco Schools and EU
Education and Youth Programmes.
