Ryan Callanan
(also known as RYCA) is a
modern Pop Artist. He is
Lamberty’s most successful
artist, and we have sold his
works to many of our major
collectors and patrons. The
new solo show at Lamberty
from 21 November 2017 will
feature new works including
a neon Smiley, massive
irreverent pub signs, and a
full size crucified Star Wars
storm trooper.
He was chosen as the British
Jubilee Artist alongside Peter
Blake, reproducing the iconic
British telephone box in
multi coloured multi-media
formats. He has also released
collaboration works with indie
band ‘Kasabian’ and mega DJ/
producer ‘Fatboy Slim’.
He was also commissioned
to produce the Knot Violence
2010 football world cup in
South Africa, with designs
by players including Buffon
[Italy], Song [Cameroon] and
David James [England], and
was a major contributor to
the British Telecom Jubilee/
Olympic celebrations in 2012.
He has exhibited in Miami,
Berlin, LA, Hong Kong, South
Africa, Tokyo, Oslo and the
UK; and collaborated with
numerous acclaimed artists
including Stik and Ben Eine.
His works are collected by Fat
Boy Slim, Goldie and Dame
Kelly Holmes.
