At the centre of the community, The Hurst Leisure Centre prides itself on offering something for everyone. Many of you will know the centre for the range of courses it offers - some of which are free! Courses include Social Media Workshops and Ipad for Beginners for those wanting to learn more technical skills, Sewing and Stone Carving for creative types and Assertiveness and Confidence Building for those interested in selfdevelopment. HIIT FOR FAT LOSS Kicking off the autumn term is a fantastic Fatloss Workshop which aims to reset your thinking, inject some fun and inspire a new way of keeping fat at bay! But the Hurst has an impressive leisure offering, too. The centre offers a comprehensive programme of weekly classes, gym memberships from just £14.50 per month and a whole host of facilities to hire. These include badminton and squash courts, the sports hall and snooker tables. Why not get down there and take a look? The Macro Tracking & HIIT for Fat Loss Workshop takes place on 28th October from 9.30 - 2pm. Health Coach, Amy Phillips introduces a better way - a fun way - to lose fat and keep it off. So say goodbye to the quick fixes, meal plans, detoxes and restriction diets and say hello to macro tracking and HIIT workouts - High Intensity Interval Training. If you are interested in living a healthier lifestyle whilst still enjoying the foods you love, getting fitter without spending hours at the gym, learning how to improve your core, arm and leg strength then this is for you. And best of all... itʼs free! Thatʼs right. There is no charge. Amy is an expert in this field and she will teach you about the macro nutrients you need, why you need them and what they do for your fat loss. She will also show you how to work out with no equipment in as little as 10 minutes! Feeling motivated? As well as the home work outs discussed on the course, The Hurst Leisure Centre is running some mini fitness courses that can run alongside. And once youʼve got the fitness bug, donʼt forget the team runs an extensive studio programme which offers a range of classes to guests and members of the gym.
