Twilight markets under the stars
On November 30, Cobb and
Co Museum will transform into
a twilight artisan market from
4pm to 8pm for Hand Made
Under the Stars, offering locally
hand made products.
Entry is free for all and there
is live music and the opportunity
to browse with a glass of wine in
hand and chat directly with those
who make the quality products.
Food and drinks will be available
to purchase. Wine, cheese
and chocolate tastings will also
be on offer.
Exhibitions featured this
month include Meteorites where
you see fragments of rock or
iron from outer space which survived
the passage through the atmosphere
to impact the surface
of the Earth.
The story of ancient
Queensland, written in the rocks
and landscapes that form our
modern environment and This
is my Heritage, where visitors
discover the profound connection
that objects have to family,
country and culture through the
personal memories and experiences
of 12 of Queensland’s
Indigenous artists and educators.
The Hands On workshops for
November have been booked
out but in the new year, workshops
being offered include Da
Vinci Maker Space, a tinkering
workshop for youngsters, blacksmithing
basics, stained glass
leadlighting, leather plaiting,
millinery and wheelwrighting.

With the exception of the annual
Lost Trades Fair and other
special events, the residents
of the Toowoomba Regional
Council area receive free entry
to Cobb and Co Museum, at 27
Lindsay Street, Toowoomba and
open from 9.30am to 4pm daily
except for Good Friday, ANZAC
Day, Christmas Day and Boxing
Day. Guided tours are conducted
at 10.30am and 2pm daily.
