To celebrate the new Bunnings Warehouse<br />

Toowoomba North store opening, residents are<br />

invited to join local Bunnings team members<br />

for the grand opening celebrations on Friday,<br />

November 10, from 5pm.<br />

To celebrate there will be a spectacular fireworks<br />

display at 6pm on Friday, with lots of fun<br />

activities such as a jumping castle, rock-climbing<br />

wall and face painting.<br />

Toowoomba North residents will also receive<br />

a visit from popular children’s characters Paw<br />

Patrol, Smurfs and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,<br />

including live shows and meet and greets.<br />

the store and celebrate with them at the Grand<br />

Opening event.<br />

“Our team members have worked extremely<br />

hard to prepare the store for opening and are<br />

looking forward to helping customers with their<br />

home improvement projects, as well as providing<br />

free D.I.Y. Workshops for adults and kids,”<br />

said Dan.<br />

The grand opening weekend festivities will<br />

continue throughout the following two weekends<br />

in November with a range of fun-filled<br />

activities for the whole family on offer.<br />

Free D.I.Y. Workshops for both adults and<br />

kids will be held every weekend to offer great<br />

advice to local residents as well as provide inspiration<br />

for projects in the home and garden.<br />

Bunnings Warehouse Toowoomba North will<br />

actively support a wide range of local community<br />

groups and causes through hands on projects,<br />

local fundraising initiatives, community<br />

workshops and of course fundraising sausage<br />

sizzles.<br />

North is located at the corner of Ruthven and<br />

Bridge Streets, Toowoomba.<br />

Grandparents’ Day was celebrated at McLean Care CWA<br />

House in Oakey. The residents were visited by children from<br />

St Monica’s School in Oakey, and all attending participated in<br />

creating jam drops, as well as Christmas crafts and old time<br />
