The Noerr KinderCamp
The Noerr KinderCamp is a holiday village
of eight brightly coloured wooden caravans as
well as shower and toilet caravans at Lake Fuschl
(Austria).
Since the summer of 2011, socially disadvantaged
children and young people have been able to
spend carefree holidays at the Noerr KinderCamp.
To date, more than 1.300 children and young people
from Germany, Romania and Austria have been
guests at the Noerr KinderCamp, many of whom
had never been on holiday before. Four children can
sleep in each caravan; all in all there is sufficient
accommodation for 32.
This is why the children and young people are
supervised and cared for pedagogically by the charitable
organisations which make it possible for them
to visit the Noerr KinderCamp and can leave their
cares behind them at the tried and tested NoerrKinderCamp
holiday programme.
The holiday village came about at the end of
April 2011: instead of poring over the finer point of
law, the approximately 450 lawyers, tax advisors and
auditors at the “Wir 2011” conference took up saws,
hammers and paintbrushes – in order to lay
a colourful foundation stone for many carefree
hours.
Our greatest wish is that the children and
young people take home impulses for their future
life based on the positive experiences they have at
the Noerr KinderCamp.
Impressions
“Forest, Meadow, Water – Experiencing, shaping
and understanding nature” is the motto of the
educational programme, which was developed for the
children and young people and is realized with the
assistance of a forest educator.
The young holiday guests paddle dragon boats
on Lake Fuschl, build colourful nest boxes and forest
xylo phones, learn to cook with herbs, bake pizza and
bread, try their hand at archery, take part in a competition
which tests their knowledge of nature and
get to know the immediate vicinity and more distant
locations on walks and day trips.
For many children, their stay at the Noerr KinderCamp
is the highlight of the summer – particularly,
for some Romanian children and young people
who often come from very poor families. These
children are happy to experience things which the
majority of people take for granted, such as running
hot water for showers or eating until you are actually
full for once.
Do you want to
support the camp?
It‘s easy to get involved!
The costs incurred by groups of children and
young people staying at the Noerr KinderCamp have
to be financed. To this end, we are looking for sponsors
willing to get involved and support the project.
You can rely on the pro fessional organisation and
support of Noerr KinderCamp e.V.
Sponsors are welcome to donate any amount.
A “weekly building block”, covering the costs for
travel, accommodation, care, food and activities for
a group amounts to approximately 7,500 euros (i.e.
approximately 250 euros/child/week).
Noerr LLP takes care of all administrative tasks
and bears the associated costs so that the donors/
sponsors contributions fully benefit the charitable
purpose.
be a Sponsor?
