RecoPhos – Recovery of Phosphorus from Sewage Sludge Ashes:<br />

Within the FP7 Project (EC-funded project) a new thermo-reductive<br />

process was developed in order to recover phosphorus from sewage<br />

sludge and sewage sludge ashes.<br />

ThermoDrill – High-<strong>Tech</strong> Solution for Deep Geothermal Challenges:<br />

Development of high-tech solutions to provide economically relevant<br />

deep geothermal borehole constructions.<br />

Montanuniversität covers the entire value-added chain: from extraction<br />

and processing of raw materials to metallurgy, high-performance<br />

materials, process and product engineering, right up to environmental<br />

technology and recycling. The addition of energy technology as a<br />

specialist subject has expanded its research areas even further.<br />
