Nankang Road Hazard Warranty
If, during the first 12 Months or 12,000km (whichever
comes first), the Nankang tyre suffers accidental damage
due to adverse road conditions and is beyond repair (e.g
impacts due to potholes, broken glass, high curbs etc) we
will replace the tyre free of charge.
Available to purchase from your
local Nankang retailer.
Terms & Conditions
The Road Hazard Warranty is not valid unless paper work
is completed by your tyre retailer and sent to YHI (New
Zealand) Ltd at the time of purchase.The Nankang Road
Hazard Warranty excludes damage caused by neglect
- not limited to but including insufficient tyre and/or
vehicle maintenance, tyre care and deliberate abuse.
Conditions that are not covered in this warranty include
fire, theft, vandalism, snow chain damage, motor vehicle
accidents, racing, incorrect repair, incorrect operating
pressures, overloading and any damage caused to the
tyre by interference with the vehicle due to incorrect
wheel fitment and/or vehicle modifications.
*The Road Hazard Warranty isn’t available for purchase
for Nankang Commercial or 4WD/SUV patterns
Manufacturer’s Warranty
All Nankang tyres distributed by YHI (New Zealand) Ltd
are covered against manufacturing faults for the life of
the tyre. If after the first 12 months or 12,000 km the tyre
has a manufacturing fault detected, YHI (New Zealand)
Ltd will inspect the tyre and if the fault is accepted the
tyre will be replaced free of charge with the same or an
equivalent product - as long as the condition of the tyre
meets the minimum requirements for a current Warrant
Of Fitness

The Nankang NS20 is an Ultra High Performance tyre
that’s produced using the latest in tyre technology. The
NS20 is designed and tested to handle both wet and dry
conditions, giving complete confidence behind the wheel.
The NS20 range is extensive and available in sizes from
16” through to 20”.
• Directional tread designed with four straight wide
grooves to maximise water drainage in wet conditions.
• Shoulder sipes increase comfort and reduce road
noise, promoting even and long tread wear.
• New silica compound increases grip and promotes
even tread wear and performance throughout the

AS2+
The AS-2+ is the new breed of Nankang performance tyres,
offering maximum grip in both dry and wet weather conditions
with optimal rolling efficiency using 3D simulation software.
The AS-2+ is designed with wider section grooves between
the tread blocks to allow the best possible drainage and water
dispersion rate, whilst chamfered lateral grooves on the tread
shoulder helps keep the road noise down.

In order to achieve better drainage efficiency, two straight
broad grooves are applied on the outside. To enhance the
safety on the wet ground, the stream in the middle groove
is used to accumulate the water with the assistance of fine
sipe bar to divert the water for a safer drive.

AR1
The AR-1 is a DOT approved competition tyre looking to be
a faster, more refined cousin to the already high performing
Nankang NS2R track and drift tyre. The development of the
AR-1 included a 15% increase in sidewall strength (compared
to NS2R) to further enhance stability, and features Nankang’s
improved N17 compound (80 Treadwear, tread depth of
5.5mm) to offer consistent performance and shorter warm
up times.
While the AR-1 boasts impressive performance on the track
it is also DOT approved. Set to position itself in amongst the
greats of the track tyre market, the AR-1 is well suited to the
track enthusiast who is hunting lap times.
