If your student is planning on returning to CPAM in September<br />
it is a good idea to preregister No tuition is due until August.<br />
Students who preregister are guaranteed that come<br />
September the classes that they choose will have a spot<br />
reserved <strong>for</strong> them.<br />
You can choose your student’s classes this month by:<br />
1. Stopping in at the office and filling out a 2011/2012<br />
registration <strong>for</strong>m and leaving it on the desk.<br />
**Our prices will remain the same <strong>for</strong> 2011/2012<br />
***You may refer a friend and if they register, you may deduct<br />
$5 from your September tuition.<br />

June 20 – Monday - at CPAM first half of the recital rehearsal and Awards<br />
Ceremony -dance class attire- begins promptly at 5:30pm- please come 15<br />
min early. Sit in large dance studio on the floor <strong>for</strong> awards. After the<br />
awards dances will run in the order of the show, when you have completed<br />
all of your dances you are set to leave. Students and parents will wait in the<br />
small dance room during the rehearsal. Students only will be called into the<br />
large dance room when it is time <strong>for</strong> them to dance-parents will wait in the waiting<br />
room. We run these rehearsals as quickly and as smoothly as possible so that the<br />
students will be familiar with the order of the recital and the amount of time between<br />
each of their dances.<br />

All students 8 years and older at CPAM are in line with National<br />
Standards in Ballet, Tap and Jazz. Examinations are given to<br />
students who show desire to excel and achieve more. Students in<br />
the examination process are considered at CPAM <strong>for</strong> Teacher<br />
Assistants and Teachers. Certificates and Medals are given in this<br />
program to build a portfolio.<br />

To All “The Great Ones” Recital 2011 Participants:<br />
Our spring recital “The Great Ones” is planned <strong>for</strong> Sunday June 26 th at the Timberlane<br />
Per<strong>for</strong>ming <strong>Arts</strong> <strong>Center</strong> at 2pm. We are expecting a large crowd of about 700 people and will be<br />
laying out a beautiful program <strong>for</strong> the event.<br />
To support the fine arts of dance, drama and voice we are asking local businesses to place an<br />
ad in our program. A whole page will be the half size of this 11.5x8 and will run $100. The half<br />
page will be $50. A one line personal message to a student from a friend or family member is<br />
only $5.<br />
I assure you that people in this community that find your services useful will see your ad<br />
displayed beautifully. Simply make a check payable to CPAM <strong>for</strong> your chosen amount and send<br />
it with the participant with your in<strong>for</strong>mation: email, phone #, website and you will be contacted to<br />
arrange the layout.<br />

Recital: Mothers of youngsters who<br />
need to change a costume will be<br />
able to go backstage between<br />
recital routines to change their own<br />
child. Be sure to take your child to<br />
the restroom and be prepared with<br />
water and non messy snacks <strong>for</strong><br />
backstage. Children ARE NOT<br />
allowed out of the dressing rooms.<br />
<strong>MA</strong>KE UP: Please use makeup on<br />
your child <strong>for</strong> photos and <strong>for</strong> recital.<br />
There are very strong stage lights<br />
which will completely wash out your<br />
child’s facial features. Stage<br />
makeup is put on heavier than we<br />
are used to so that facial features<br />
can be seen from far away. TY.<br />

watching the per<strong>for</strong>mance from<br />
backstage. Relatives of per<strong>for</strong>mers<br />
are NOT PERMITTED backstage.<br />
Only mothers of female dancers<br />
will be allowed into the changing<br />
rooms during the per<strong>for</strong>mance to<br />
ensure privacy <strong>for</strong> the dancers.<br />
All students need to per<strong>for</strong>m in the<br />
Finale Bows.<br />
