If your student is planning on returning to CPAM in September
it is a good idea to pre­register No tuition is due until August.
Students who pre­register are guaranteed that come
September the classes that they choose will have a spot
reserved for them.
You can choose your student’s classes this month by:
1. Stopping in at the office and filling out a 2011/2012
registration form and leaving it on the desk.

***You may refer a friend and if they register, you may deduct
$5 from your September tuition.
***Early September Tuition is accepted before August 31 st .
***After June 27 th Registration will be OPEN to the public and

Student/Parent Work Scholarships are available for a
number of returning students. Office work, cleaning and
other projects which can be done by students or their
parents can subsidize or completely cover dance/drama

June 20 – Monday - at CPAM first half of the recital rehearsal and Awards
Ceremony -dance class attire- begins promptly at 5:30pm- please come 15
min early. Sit in large dance studio on the floor for awards. After the
awards dances will run in the order of the show, when you have completed
all of your dances you are set to leave. Students and parents will wait in the
small dance room during the rehearsal. Students only will be called into the
large dance room when it is time for them to dance-parents will wait in the waiting
room. We run these rehearsals as quickly and as smoothly as possible so that the
students will be familiar with the order of the recital and the amount of time between
each of their dances.
June 21 – Tuesday - at CPAM second half of recital rehearsal and Awards

the A.A.B. Performance Awards in January of 2010.
National Dance Teacher’s Council Of America
All students 8 years and older at CPAM are in line with National
Standards in Ballet, Tap and Jazz. Examinations are given to
students who show desire to excel and achieve more. Students in
the examination process are considered at CPAM for Teacher
Assistants and Teachers. Certificates and Medals are given in this
program to build a portfolio.

To All “The Great Ones” Recital 2011 Participants:
Our spring recital “The Great Ones” is planned for Sunday June 26 th at the Timberlane
Performing Arts Center at 2pm. We are expecting a large crowd of about 700 people and will be
laying out a beautiful program for the event.
To support the fine arts of dance, drama and voice we are asking local businesses to place an
ad in our program. A whole page will be the half size of this 11.5x8 and will run $100. The half
page will be $50. A one line personal message to a student from a friend or family member is
only $5.
I assure you that people in this community that find your services useful will see your ad
displayed beautifully. Simply make a check payable to CPAM for your chosen amount and send
it with the participant with your information: email, phone #, website and you will be contacted to
arrange the layout.

Tentative Recital Schedule
This schedule is subject to review
by teachers and will be
redistributed pending changes.
Recital: Mothers of youngsters who
need to change a costume will be
able to go backstage between
recital routines to change their own
child. Be sure to take your child to
the restroom and be prepared with
water and non messy snacks for
backstage. Children ARE NOT
allowed out of the dressing rooms.
MAKE UP: Please use makeup on
your child for photos and for recital.
There are very strong stage lights
which will completely wash out your
child’s facial features. Stage
makeup is put on heavier than we
are used to so that facial features
can be seen from far away. TY.
Competition: order through CPAM
ALL OTHERS &Younger students:
EYES: light brown, dark brown and
white
CHEEKS: Pink
LIPS: Red
Black Mascara and brown eye liner
All students MUST remain backstage
for the entire performance.
Students are not allowed in the
audience or in the lobby at any
time.
Parents who chaperone will be
watching the performance from
backstage. Relatives of performers
are NOT PERMITTED backstage.
Only mothers of female dancers
will be allowed into the changing
rooms during the performance to
ensure privacy for the dancers.
All students need to perform in the
Finale Bows.
