Market Potential and Analysis for Peanut Based RUTFs<br />
To get an idea of potential market size for peanut<br />
based RUFTs, interviewers used small clear sachets<br />
of peanut butter as props for posing questions (see<br />
Photo 52). Eighty-five percent (85%) of respondents<br />
said they would buy it (Figure 45). Table 24 below<br />
summarizes that most said that they would like to pay<br />
5 HG; 69% sixty-nine percent thought they could sell<br />
it, saying they would like to pay 3 HG (median) and<br />
sell it for 5 HG (median). The recommended number<br />
of sachets per case was a median of 100 sachet; 75%<br />
felt that there was a sufficient quanity in the sachet,<br />
96% would pay more for if it were bigger.<br />
