“Combined” refers to the fact that the if the respondent was a woman who had born children we
asked about her own vitamin use during last preganancy, if it was a man who had fathered
children we asked about the most recent mother-of-child’s use; if a woman or man who had not
yet born children we asked about his or her mothers use of vitamins during last pregnancy.
