EXPLORING CREATIVE SOLUTIONS<br />

Learning to play a musical instrument<br />

is one of the more creative ways to distract<br />

yourself from tinnitus. Certain instruments,<br />

like woodwind and brass, are the most<br />

effective at canceling the noise, that’s<br />

because they’re close to your head and the<br />

sound ends up resonating inside your skull.<br />

Try using massage to help reduce tinnitus<br />

symptoms. Increased blood flow can<br />

help clear your mind and reduce physical<br />

stress associated with tinnitus. The<br />

more you are relaxed, the less hard your<br />

heart works, and this in return reduces<br />

your blood pressure. If the sound you<br />

are hearing is caused by blood rushing<br />

through your ears, as is the case for many<br />

sufferers, your symptoms may improve<br />

when your blood moves more slowly.<br />

As we have said before, tinnitus has been<br />

thought of as something that one has to<br />

deal with. If you are open to some new<br />

ideas, maybe trying some new things, you<br />

can actually minimize or even eliminate<br />

tinnitus. Use the tips above and you may<br />

be able to find some peace.<br />
