SLEEP ON YOUR SIDE<br />

A large number of people with sleep<br />

apnea sleep on their backs. If you do this,<br />

you might want to start sleeping on your<br />

side, instead. It’s been proven that you<br />

can sleep more comfortably by sleeping<br />

on one side if you have sleep apnea.<br />

Going to bed on your side can be something<br />

you can do to help you get better rest if<br />

you have sleep apnea. When people sleep<br />

on their back, their tongue and soft palate<br />

rest to the back of the throat, which blocks<br />

the airway. Try to fall asleep in a side<br />

position, and discover if that relieves your<br />

sleep apnea tonight.<br />

TREAT YOUR SINUS OR<br />

ALLERGY PROBLEMS<br />

Because you already suffer, this should at<br />

least alleviate one of many sleep problems.<br />

You have to avoid anything else that is<br />

going to affect your ability to breathe while<br />

you are asleep. Keeping your airway free<br />

and clear by treating your nasal problems<br />

gives you a much better chance of sleeping<br />

through the night without problems.<br />
