“Romantic reds will definitely be one of the
most requested colours this season,” says Jack
Howard at Paul Edmonds. “For me, ‘ronze’ and
rose golds are still the most flattering options
for clients, but jewel tones and vibrant coppers
and reds are on the up. I’m enjoying mixing soft
coppers with coral tones.” Meanwhile, TIGI is all
about the reds this season. “We’re working with
rich tones of red and mahogany, moving into
a diverse range of colours including brick red,
burgundy, suede red and orange lily,” explains
Warren Boodaghians, TIGI Academy global
technical director. Warren will be using TIGI

mahogany shades from its AGE DENIED range.
For Tracy Hayes from Fudge Professional,
coppers, marigolds, pumpkin orange and
cherry reds will be her autumn palette.
“It’s best to aim to create the appearance
of all-over colour, but with subtly-placed
tones to create borders and depth
throughout the hair,” she says.
