Ferrybridge car park, bet w een Wyke and Port land. The cent re has plent y of inform at ion on<br />
w hat w ildlife and plant life you could find t here, a sm all gift shop w here you can pick up<br />
sm all m em orabilia and a cafe w here you can get sm all t hings t o eat or drink. There is also<br />
an educat ion room t hat schools can use t o educat e kids about t he area.<br />
The cent re is also connect ed t o a pat hw ay t hat w ill t ake you t o t he ot her side of t he beach<br />
w here you can explore t he vast w ildlife or relax on t he beach w it h a beaut iful ocean view.<br />
One of t he m ain act ivit ies at t he cent re is t o hire t he glass bot t om ed boat t hat w ill give you<br />
a t ore around t he low er fleet w here you w ill be able t o see everyt hing below you.<br />

Fishing is a very popular t hing t o do at<br />
Chesil, t his is because t he t ide is<br />

sam e general area. The high prevailing<br />

The biggest fish t o be caught at Chesil<br />
w as a 78.6 lb st ingray t hat beat t he<br />
previous record of 67 lb. It w as caught<br />
by a m an called Guy Spriggs on<br />
Sept em ber 1st 2015 . This st ingray is<br />
believed t o be one of t he biggest ever<br />
caught in t he w hole count ry. Alt hough<br />
you aren?t likely t o cat ch a record<br />
breaking st ingray, t here are st ill plent y<br />
of fish t o cat ch at Chesil like; Mackerel,<br />
Wrasse, Pollock, Cod and m any ot her<br />
t ypes.

Alt hough t he t hrill of adrenaline, t he ext rem e sport is ext rem ely dangerous, if<br />
you don?t know w hat you are doing. Many yout hs have t aken up t his sport as a<br />
hobby. The fear for m ost t ourist s passing by is t he roughness of t he sea. The<br />
int elligent , shaky people usually t ake an unusual int erest t o t he so called sport .<br />
They t end t o st and and t ake videos and pict ures of t he brave cliff jum pers.<br />
We spoke t o a local lad aged 15 w ho t akes part in t he ext rem e act ivit y at t he<br />
popular t ourist at t ract ion. He said ?The t hrilling, adrenaline filled sport m e and<br />
m y friends t ake part in m akes m e appreciat e t he locat ion w e live in. Not m any<br />
places in t he UK have safe enough cliffs t o jum p from due t o t he rocks.?<br />

enclosed isle. The ages of local societ y t aking part in t he act ivit y range from 12 t o<br />
40 and t he height s range from 5ft t o 55ft . We advise people not t o cliff jum p but<br />
