It is with gratefulness
that we stand at the end
of another successful
term. As a school we
have experienced and
accomplished so much in
this short, yet busy third
term.
I thank all the participants,
coaches and organisers
of the eisteddfods, Curro
Cuesta, culture week,
cross country, cricket,
hockey, tennis and
equestrian. You have
made this term a super
term! Without the support
of you, our parents, these
activities would have been
impossible. I am grateful
towards you all!
Our annual fundraising
project- the soapbox daywas
once again a highlight
on our calendar. Thank
you to every learner,
parent and educator who
also pulled their weight to
ensure the success of this
project. The total amount
raised will be revealed
to you on Friday, 22
September.
We are privileged to share
with you the outstanding
achievement of two of
our high school learners.
Chantelle van Rooyen
(grade 11) and Kiana
Venter (grade 12) have
nationally, out of all the
Curro schools, been
honoured as part of the Top
20 Academic achievers.
Once again proof of the
high academic standard
that is maintained at
Curro Roodeplaat.

you!
School closes
on Friday, 22
September at
10:00. All learners
must attend
the first three
academic periods
and then receive
their reports during
register period (09:30-
10:00). School re-opens
on Tuesday, 10 October.
Important dates of the first
two weeks of the new term
as well as the exam time
table for term 4 will be
sent to you on Friday, 22
September.
Enjoy the well-deserved
rest that lies ahead.
My prayer accompanies all
our families wherever they
may travel this holiday.
