The tea pot display in St Albans
Anglican hall in Newtown
was based on the theme
“Friendship, a time for tea”.
But there was friendly conflict
with teapots in the shape tractors,
held by Janelle Caldicott
and Kay Hartmann. A farmer
visitor said the red teapot,
represented Case IH, should
be disposed of. He was a
John Deere man and quite
liked the green teapot. The
12th year of the teapot display
includes a CWA display, and
a tea pot, coffee pot and a
menu from Londy’s Café, an
institution in Ruthven Street.
