DIOLOSA LINE
The herbal teas of the Diolosa Line - Rinchen Tea
"Rinchen" means precious, it is a name given to precious
medicines in the Tibetan tradition, medicines which have been
created from the Buddha himself to help sentient beings. Rinchen
Tea warms the Kidney Yang and Qi, its replenishes the kidney
essence (Jing) and the essence of all organs and also nourishes the
liver and heart blood. It is a powerful tonic, particularly helpful for
men after a certain age. The composition of this herbal formula
targets the lower back, the legs and the sexual organs. It increases
fertility and can be used also for the treatment of impotence. This
tea should not be used in case of infectious sicknesses, empty heat
or blood heat and should be used cautiously during pregnancy after
the third month.
Rinchen means
precious and nothing
is more precious than
one’s life…
Always adjust the diet,
if you want to get the
full effect of the
Rinchen Tea - stop to
eat cold food.
Rinchen Tea combines the tonification of the pre-and post-natal
sources of the Jing. It is composed of sweet and slightly pungent
warm herbs to replenish the essence - the precious JING. In
Chinese Pharmacology there are two possibilities to nourish the
essence - the jing - either with warm or cold
herbs. Very often both categories are
combined together in order to avoid any
kidney imbalance, but in the case of
Rinchen Tea the herbs which are used to
nourish the Essence have a warm nature.
It is always important to distinguish
whether the essence and the blood were
primarily consumed by heat, empty heat or
internal cold, damp, phlegm and Yang
deficiency. If the exhaustion of the essence
(jing) is the consequence of empty heat, fire
or chronic infectious sicknesses with high
fever and profuse sweating, then San Bao
Tea should be used. In the other situations,
where the Yang Qi of the body was primarily
depleted and damp, phlegm cold prevails,
Rinchen Tea is better.
When the yin is exceeding, because of the
weakness of the kidney yang, dampness and
phlegm prevails and block the channels.
This is the reason why the production of
essence and blood decreases, when the
constitution is cold and damp.
Although the patient takes a lot of nutritious foods, juices, salads,
cold food and drinks, smoothies, dairy products, calcium,
magnesium and vitamins, its constitution remains weak and cold
and the bone structure decreases (osteoporosis
„Rinchen
means
precious as
a jewel…“
despite many dairy products). Rinchen Tea
differs from San Bao Tea as it tonifies the
essence through the yang, while San Bao Tea
refills directly the essence, the blood and the jin
ye through the yin. Both teas stimulate the
resorption of food and preserve the function of
the middle burner. Their composition prevents
the production of dampness and phlegm. The
Rinchen Tea reflects the function of the DU MAI, while the San Bao
Tea reflects the function of the REN MAI. This is the reason why I
mostly recommend the San Bao Tea for women and Rinchen Tea for
men, particularly after the age of 50 years.
Rinchen Tea can be combined with Yang Root Tablets, which have
the same energetic potential. Warming the Root is warmer and
can better eliminate coldness from the lower burner and the back
than Yang Root and Rinchen Tea. Secret Power is a libido booster
and increases the fertility. It is possible to use all those Patent
Formulas together. I would recommend Rinchen Tea in the morning
Rinchen Tea
nourishes the
essence with warm
herbs. This is the
secret path of
pharmacology, that
only few understand.
If you combine
Rinchen and San Bao
Tea together, you have
a powerful tonic for
both kidneys.
Decoction is always
better, the essence of
the herbs can be
extracted more
efficiently.
like the other yang tonics too. The combination of tea and tablets is excellent and is very
effective to restore the Yang. It is important to be diligent and follow the treatment for
few months in order to obtain some stable results.
Spleen Qi / Yang deficiency > San Chiao (Triple Heater) Jin Ye - Liquids stagnation >
Stomach Damp/ Phlegm Cold > Kidney Qi / Yang and Jing deficiency > Bladder Damp
Clinical Application
Chronic fatigue, resorption disorder, intolerance of carbohydrates, overweight, weak
tissue, water storage, slight oedema, nausea, reflux, food stagnation, menière syndrom,
hypo-function of the thyroid-gland, hypothermia, cold feet, cold loins, cold abdomen,
chronic back pain, weak libido, infertility, nycturia, chronical cystitis, hypertrophy of the
prostate, ovary cyst, weak lumbar vertebra, low blood pressure, dizziness, chronical
headache, strong lower abdominal pain, dysmenorrhea, lumpy and black bleeding, sparse
bleeding, blood clots, thin and brittle hair, hair loss, dry eyes, insomnia
Contraindications
Rinchen Tea should not be given in case of infectious diseases, heat, empty heat, phlegm
heat, psychosis and damp heat. Rinchen Tea is also contraindicated during pregnancy,
especially after the third month. The patient should also refrain from cold food and
drinks, green salad, sprouts, dairy products, coffee, green and black tea and peppermint
tea.
Preparation
The Rinchen Tea can be prepared in two ways. The first is the infusion and the second the
decoction. The decoction is definitely stronger and more efficient and should be used, if
the infusion doesn't help or in case of chronic ailments. Three cups a day are normally
enough. I would always recommend to drink the Rinchen Tea in the morning (large
intestine time) in order to replenish properly the quintessence of the body. This herbal
tea, like all the other ones, should always be drunken warm, some honey can be added
too.
Hot infusions
Basic method
1- Scoop 1-3 tablespoons of dried herb into a strainer.
2- Heat 1/4 liter of water until it just comes to boil.
3- Place strainer in your cup.
4- Pour hot water over herbs and cover to keep the essential oils from escaping.
5- Let infuse for 5 to 15 minutes and strain.
Decoctions
Decoctions are simmered teas that are perfect for the extraction of hard roots, dried
berries, barks and seeds. It is actually the best method if one wish to get a quick result.
Basic Method for decoction
1- Place 3 big spoons (or even more) of dried herbs into a small sauce pan (never use
metal, but instead clay, glass or ceramic).
3- Slowly heat the water to a simmer, but do not cover.
4- Allow to gently simmer for 5 to 15 minutes.
5- Strain the herbs and reserve the tea in a quart jar or a thermos bottle and drink.
You can use the same herbs 3 times a day.
