On behalf of the Lane Tech Football Team and the
Lane Tech Football Booster Club, I would like to thank
you for your ongoing support for the student-athletes
that are part of the Lane Tech Football Program. Your
generous contributions have allowed our program
to purchase the safest equipment for our studentathletes.
The support from local businesses and
families over the years has improved our program
tremendously. Every student-athlete that participates
in football now is able to wear a 5 star football helmet
and new shoulder pads. The ad book promotes your
businesses and the young men and women that are
members of the Lane Tech Football community.
Once again, I thank you for your contributions this
year, and those who have donated over the past
several years. The Ad Book allows for our program
to grow and make the game safer for our studentathletes.
The Lane Tech Football program will grow
and become a premiere Chicago Public School
program with your patronage and support.

Coach Faltin is entering his third season
at Lane Tech.
Served as Head Coach at Walter Payton
College Prep 2009-2014 and as assistant
coach in 2008.
Led Walter Payton from the Inter-city
Conference to the Illini Conference.
Won back-to-back Conference Championships in 2013 & 2014.
Qualified for the IHSA State Playoffs 4 years in a row in 2011-2014.
In 2011-2014 Lead Walter Payton to 23-3 conference record.
In 2008 started winter wrestling program at Schiller Elementary.
Graduated from Northeastern Illinois University.
Served in the United States Air Force 2000-2004.
Veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
Assigned to the Presidential Detail and completed AMC Phoenix
Raven training in 2002.
Member of the 1998 & 1999 Mt. Carmel State Championship teams.
Tony grew up in the St. Bede parish on the city’s south side. He
currently runs a personal training facility in Lincoln Park and resides
in Avondale with his wife, Kim, and their 3 dogs; Raven, Scout, and
Bubba.

Coach Casasanto is entering his third season
at Lane Tech.
He was the assistant head coach at Walter
Payton College Prep 2009-2014.
He was a Sophomore assistant coach at Mt.
Carmel High School 2006-2008.
• 4 year letterman and Captain at St. Xavier University
• 1998 & 1999 State Champion Member/ Team Captain in 1999
• 1999 Illinois All-State Team
Dan grew up in St. Bruno Parish on the southwest side. He has been a
member of the Chicago police Department for the past 12 years.

Coach Collins enters his second year on
the Varsity staff at Lane Tech. Coach Collins
graduated from Evanston Township High
School. He was a member of the 1999 Illinois
All-State Team. He played college football at
the University of Illinois. He is the owner of
Big Ten Supply Company.
Clark currently lives in Portage Park with his wife Darcey and their two
dogs.

Pat begins his first year on the varsity football
staff. He spent two years on the JV staff. Pat
serves as a teacher on staff at Lane Tech. Pat
graduated from Ridgewood High School. He
played college football at Harper College and
Concordia University Wisconsin.
Pat resides in Logan Square.

Coach Lopez enters his second year as the
Sophomore/JV team head coach. This is his
third season on staff at lane Tech. He previously
coached at Walter Payton high School 2011-
2014. Prior to coaching at Walter Payton High
School he served as an assistant coach at Clemente High School from
2009-2010. He works security at Lane Tech High School. He also served
8 years in the United States Marine Corp as a jet mechanic.

Coach Harvey enters his second year on
staff. He played 4 years at Walter Payton
High School and went on to play at Marietta
College in Ohio. He graduated from Marietta
University in 2016.

Tech JV staff. He is from Ocala, Florida. He
played Quarterback/Punter at North Marion
High School. He went on to play college
football at Southern University Louisiana and
graduated from Troy University.

A FITNESS TRACKER FOR THE CITY
The Array of Things (AoT) is an urban sensing
project, a network of 500 sensor boxes that
will be installed around Chicago to measure
factors that impact livability in Chicago such
as climate, air quality, noise, and congestion.
