KELOWNA CHIEFS JUNIOR HOCKEY
As a member of the Kootenay International
Junior Hockey League, the Kelowna Chiefs Hockey
Club is focused on building long-term success from
a foundation of honesty, commitment and contribution.
We develop our community’s future leaders
through the game of hockey by re-enforcing a
reward system that supports the empowerment
of every member of the team. The spirit, energy
and competitiveness of our athletes are among the
team’s greatest assets.
Every member of our organization is encouraged to
reach for their highest potential while preparing for
their future through education and contribution to
our community as a positive role model. Established
in 2010 in Kelowna, the Chiefs Junior Hockey Club is
committed to ensuring our players are recognized
by teams at higher levels for their strong play and
dedication to skill development, leadership and
competitiveness.
GENERAL MANAGER
GRANT SHERIDAN
Being a long time supporter of hockey in Kelowna
at all levels, Grant was instrumental in bringing the
Chiefs to Kelowna. Grant wanted to provide another
level of hockey in Kelowna so that local players could
stay here and play, while out of town players could
come to our great City to play hockey and go to
school. Through support from local business partners,
Kelowna Minor Hockey, the Kelowna Rockets
and all the Chief’s volunteers, billets, and local fans,
the program continues to grow each year.
“The support we receive from the Community is very
much appreciated. We continually call on local businesses
and focus on creating value for our Sponsors.
Our sales focus is simple for our corporate sponsors,
create a high return on investment by providing an integrated
marketing program designed to promote their
company to a captive audience who share their passion
for this beloved game.”
hockey in the community.
“The KIJHL is a great league that gives players another
amazing option to further their hockey careers and I
leadership in coaching, marketing and skills
