We are excited at Eatdrink not only to celebrate our 10th anniversary, but to present Volume 6 of London’s Local Flavour. You can get your hands on a copy at the farmers’ markets, and many of the Eatdrink outlets in London, at the Downtown London office, and regionally at Tourism Information Centres. Eatdrink Forest City Cookbook Recipe Contest — Eatdrink & WIN! Calling all chefs, kitchen crafters and creative cooks! What can you make with London’s finest local ingredients? Eatdrink has cooked up a recipe contest for the chance to get your personal dish to go to print in London Ontario’s first-ever community cookbook, the highly anticipated Forest City Cookbook. Grill, shake, stir, and bake … What will you make? Send Eatdrink your best original recipe using locally grown ingredients and it may come to life with its place among those from the most inspiring chefs in town. Recipes will be judged on creativity, taste, flavour, ease of preparation based on submitted instructions and use of local ingredients. Submissions will be narrowed down to three, and the finalists’ recipes will be prepared and judged by Eatdrink’s panel of experts. The prize: having your recipe (with your personal story and a photo) featured in the Forest City Cookbook, alongside 120+ original recipes from an impressive cast of the people behind your favourite restaurants, events, classrooms and small businesses in London. The contest opens September 5, 2017 and the deadline for recipe submissions is October 31, 2017. The winner will be announced by Eatdrink and the winner will then work with the Forest City Cookbook production team to have their winning submission finalized for inclusion in the Forest City Cookbook. You can find full contest details and additional information online. Start the recipe writing! www.eatdrink.ca/contests 29 RESTAURANTS. $50,000 RAISED.
