people, there’s one person you
need to know about today...

Once upon a time,
a long, long time ago,
(also known as 4 years, 1 month, and
14 days as of this printing) in a place far, far
away (also known as not that far away),
in the land they call Maryland,
a little baby boy was born.
Jonathan is his name.
There he now lives with his
family... but more about them later.
In these pages, you will find
his story.

MEET OUR HERO,
Jonathan Ellis
Now, Jonathan is not just any boy. He is a most special, quite
unique,a one in a million kind of a boy. From his head to his toes,
he is one of a kind. The way he looks and acts, the things he likes,
the places he goes, and the people he knows. These things are all
part of what make him especially special. Let’s take a look...

Our hero,
like any great hero,
has a great story
behind his name.
Every extra special person
deserves an equally special name.
Wouldn’t you agree?
Jonny’s mom had something to say about this:

My wife is Korean and we wanted a name that
would be applicable to both Americans and Koreans.
In the Korean language, there is a common boy
name that we like that is spelled most closely as
English John. I don’t particularly like John, but I do like
Jonathan, so that is what we went with an English.

Jonathan’s nickname is Jonny

describe this handsome boy?

Johnny looks very much like his mother. He has her facial
structure in particular.

King Arthur had the knights of the round table.
Dorothy had the tin man, the scarecrow and the cowardly lion.

is just like a good
storybook. It is what we find on the
inside that is especially special.
Isn’t he
amazing?!
Some of Jonny’s very best traits
are that he is
sensitive,
athletic, and
talkative.

When Jonny isn’t off having adventures in faraway
lands (performing in front of thousands of people, rescuing
endangered animals, saving the world... that sort of thing), he
lives right here in Maryland.

A day in our hero’s life.
At his home in Maryland, Jonny’s day to day
adventures look something like this...
Wake up, go pee, come
downstairs and eat his
plain Greek yogurt and
banana for breakfast,
then get dressed and
ready for school

I think I’ll go for

If you ever find yourself flying over
Jonny’s house on a nice day, you just
might see him riding his bike. Or he
might be playing sports, another
one of his favorite things to do.

to be inside playing with trains, or
reading books, or talking constantly.

Our friend Tiny hopes that one day he will be Jonny’s favorite mouse.

This amazing person is good
at all sorts of things, but one
thing he is REALLY good at
is Spelling.
But just like any other
hero, Jonny isn’t good at
everything. Believe it or not...
“Jonny can be quite loud
when he is excited!”.
This kid is
impressive!

Have you heard the story
of the princess and the pea? The princess
is so particular about her bed that one
little pea under the mattress is enough
to prevent her from sleeping! I wonder
what peculiar things make Jonny as
unique as that Princess?
He is completely obsessed with transportation,
particularly trains, and particularly Thomas. I know
many young boys are, but it is all he thinks and talks
about nearly 24/7.

Well… now that you have met Jonny,
stay tuned for the wonderful stories that are to come.
A boy as special as Jonny is certainly going to
have a life full of adventure. Watch carefully, because
you never know what might be around the next corner.
