We call her Evie, BooBoos, Sweetie-Peety. Your birth mother named you Macie in the hospital and we wanted to keep this as part of your name, so we made it your middle name. We loved the names Evelyn and Macie together, so Evelyn Macie it was! Evelyn means “light” or “wished for child” and you are both! The first night at home was an adjustment for all of us! We put the Pack & Play in our room to have you sleep near us. You woke up several times for your bottle just as every new baby should. We loved having you home with us!
