For over two decades NORD-LOCK self-locking<br />
washers have provided 100% safety for bolted<br />
joints.<br />
It is vital that joints holding subassemblies together<br />
remain secure. Bolts need to be easily removable<br />
during maintenance but resist loosening effects of<br />
vibrations <strong>and</strong> dynamic loads.<br />
NORD-LOCK bolt securing system uses tension<br />
instead of friction. When the bolt <strong>and</strong>/ or nut is<br />
tightened, the teeth grip <strong>and</strong> seat on the mating<br />
surfaces. The teeth lock the nord-lock system in<br />
place, allowing movement only across the face of<br />
the cams. The tension created makes the bolt selflocking.<br />
Any attempt from the bolt/nut to turn loose<br />
will be blocked by the wedge-locking effect of the<br />
