Coke Transfer Cars
Schalke coke transfer cars are principally designed as „1-spot machines“.
Although the main task of a coke transfer car is now as ever handling of doors and guiding the pushed coke
from the oven into the quench car other function groups have become necessary in order to meet the requirements
of more stringent pollution control standards and specific oven/battery conditions. The following
functions groups are concerned:
Spillage coke collection system
Door extractor for inclined and leaning ovens
Door and frame cleaner for inclined and
leaning ovens
Housed-in coke guide for inclined and
leaning ovens
Bench cleaner
Door emission collection system
Pushing emission collection with a hood covering
