A worldwide phenomenon
In the megalithic age people all around the world, had a knowledge we don't understand today. They could cut huge rocks and move
them large distances . They could shape them to whatever specification they desired and to a precision that is incomprehensible to us.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etmhB2ZwqJs
This is only one site of thousands on the internet retelling our history. It is time all academia acknowledged this new understanding.
These civilizations were also able to travel vast distances across ocean and land . Including the Arctic circle and Antarctic .
New Zealand was not exempt from this phenomenon . There has been an awakening here among those who believe in these Stone
people and people are going out and investigating rock formations for evidence.
An altered Geological formation

The first time i saw this rock formation, i could tell it was not natural and that was forty years ago. I took lots of photographs but the
best view to show it was too perfect to be natural ,was of the western side .

We can see from the above photograph that the limestone has been shaped at a 90 deg angle to create the vault shape. A landslip
would be more irregular .

The shape is not natural . This whole side looks like it has been carved from the hillside . The whole shape is of a crypt or a vault.
There are two roads below ,one on each side of the river . The pictures are taken from the top of Te Mata Peak in Hawkes Bay New
Zealand. It is the main tourist attraction of this area. These two signs are displayed at the top of the peak.

This is the view to the west.

The version of the giant story that is on the notice above is fiction as you can tell by the full name, Te Mata O Rongokako (The Face
of Rongokako)
Rongokako was the son of Tamatea a chief who arrived in New Zealand with the fleet in around 1350 . The Maori will tell you that
this Rongokako can not be the same one . As Rongokako son of Tamatea got married and had children . Please refer to the Maori
stories from the Waimarama Maori Tours.
The major god of agriculture was Rongo (or Rongomātāne), who was the protector of crops. He was also the god of peace. Symbols
of Rongo such as tapu (sacred) stones were placed in the fields to promote fertility. Before kūmara planting began people chanted to
Rongo; and at harvest time the first kūmara were buried as an offering to him.

Tau Mata Atua. A God.
Stored at Te Papa

"Rongo-Kako having married the beautiful Muriwhenua, had born to him a son, whom he named after his own father, Tamatea.
Later the lad was circumcised, and this was the origin of his full name of Tamatea-Ure-haea, or Tamatea the circumcised."
One Myth has Rongo- kako keeping a large Kiwi as a pet and riding on the back of the Giant Kiwi .Maybe it was a Moa . It must have
been an extremely large Kiwi as Rongokako was a giant.
Maori seem to have incorporated legends and myths from The Stone People or that the same legends were common among
different peoples . We have seen that belief in giants and that these giants had a sky father.
In the Old Testament we are told that the sons of god came to earth and found the daughters of man sexy . So they had children
together and these children were giants. This legend is as common as the great flood one. It is where the Maori saying Skyfather and
Earthmother comes from ( Rangi and Papa)

http://www.waimaramamaori.co.nz/stories/te-mata-a-myth-or-a-con/
http://www.waimaramamaori.co.nz/stories/the-cleansing-of-waimarama/
The myths are about a Rongokako giant from a time long before Maori arrived in New Zealand . When Maori arrived in New Zealand
they were met by other peoples . Nearby at Waimarama the people that the Maori found were secretive and could do magic . The
Maori were afraid of them ,they called them the stone people. There are other stories from around New Zealand ,of tribes of white
people and small elf like people also there was the people of the mist. The Mariori were probably the last of these tribes or races
.The group of tribes already in New Zealand were known to Maori as The Moai.
http://www.waimaramamaori.co.nz/stories/the-cleansing-of-waimarama/
These tribes could have come from anywhere in the world. Travel as i mentioned before was not a problem . The stone people may
have traveled to Easter Island and on to South America or they could have spread the opposite way. The Rapa Nui on Easter Island
and Maori have alot in common . They can even understand each others language. For instance a canoe in Rapi Nui is a Vaka ,in
Maori it is Whaka pronounced (vaka). In Easter Island and in some areas of south America there has been discovered a proto picture
language called Rongo-Rongo. I believe if we look close enough here in New Zealand we will find traces of Rongo-Rongo.
Willam Colenso believed that the migration traditions were mythological and that humans arrived in New Zealand much earlier.
Travelling on the ocean for long periods of time and navigating by the position of the sun or stars was known . In cloudy weather
they were told to follow the birds.
The sooty shearwater bird migrates from southern New Zealand to the Arctic circle and back yearly. It is easy then to see how the
original Maori came from Taiwan .
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sooty_shearwater
The Sooty shearwater flies up the western side of the Pacific ocean and flies home down the eastern side of the Pacific . They do the
same in the Atlantic ocean.

Manaia
"I turn his face and you would see that the other side was that of a fish. He had but one eye and one arm; and so you never see a
manaia carved in full face but only in profile, with the one eye showing. One is reminded of the stories of Dagon the fish-god and
other classic mythological apparitions, but our Maori manaia out-freaks them all."
What parts us twain?
Is it the tapu's spell?
'Tis but an empty name,
Light as the western breeze.
My love will pass all bounds,
Time, space and thought;
My heart flies forth to thee—
And yet 'tis all in vain!
We dwell apart!
Title: The Maori: Yesterday and To-day
Author: James Cowan

The area from space

The Crypt from space shows just how artifcial it is. The whole area is just fascinating and there will be many more wonderful things
discovered .

Close by there is a small peak and if you have good eyesight you will see a small square indicating a picture has been added . The title
of this picture is "Te Mata's erection" This is an attempt to explain this small peak as part of the hill profile "The sleeping giant" The
origin of the picture title was Maori.

"Te Mata Peak, the 'Sleeping Giant' towers 400 metres above sea level, offering stunning views of the whole of the Hawke’s Bay
region and providing a breathtaking backdrop for our Giants Winery. Beneath its rugged contours lies a powerful story of love and
the ultimate sacrifice.
A Maori chief called Heretaunga once ruled this land. His rival, a fearsome giant of a man named Te Mata O Rongokaka waged war
on Heretaunga for many years until one day he caught sight of Heretaunga’s daughter, Hinerakau. He was so struck by the young
maiden’s beauty, he fell instantly in love with her. He knew that in order to make her his own, he must stop his warmongering ways
and instead, woo her. Although reluctant at first to even consider him, Hinerakau set him seemingly impossible tasks, convinced he
would fail. He completed them all, except one. She’d told him he must eat his way through the mountain. He flung his huge bulk into
the side of the hill and begun crushing the rock with his teeth. Desperately he chewed, but in his haste he choked on a large boulder
and fell dead to the ground.
And so Te Mata Peak was formed in the shape of the sleeping giant, lying unrequited by love for all eternity."
(The picture print and the story as told in a brochure from Craggy Range Wineries)
I believe this to be ancient pareidolia and it is not uncommon . The most famous of this ancient pareidolia is at Machu Pichu in Peru.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNswGIXyu9E

This is another one at Machu Pichu . It's of an angel.
Quote
“I really don't know why it is that all of us are so committed to the sea, except I think it's because in addition to the fact that the sea
changes, and the light changes, and ships change, it's because we all came from the sea. And it is an interesting biological fact that
all of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our
blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea - whether it is to sail or to watch it - we
are going back from whence we came."
John F Kennedy
The Maori knew this and as we have seen they carved their Manaia in profile with only one eye showing you could see the other side
of the face it would be of a fish to show that we originally came out of the sea.

Our main Manaia may be Te Mata O Rongokako. Our large Manaia is in plain site but no one sees it . It's on the front of the crypt ,on
the middle bottom . The stone people that were here before Maori obviously did their Manaia the same way but in an abstract
way ,that it seems to be artistically more sophisticated .
As well as the Manaia you should be able to see the Whaka ,top left. If you are able to zoom into the eye of the Manaia you will
discover the skull

I have identified a band around the forehead . It's like a buckle with a triangular shape where it is said the third eye Chakra is.
Zoomed out a bit you will notice a lot of recognisable shapes.

This picture shows that the whole front side is fully carved and is of one piece of stone that has been moved from another site.

The Kissing Manaia's
At first i thought these Manaia must be Rongo-kako and his love .
I have changed my mind as it must be clear to everyone that it is the Sky Father and the Earth Mother ,Rangi and Papa.Full title
Rangi-atea and Papa-tuanuku. Rangi's eye has what looks like a shield in it.

This is the first Ronga not Rongo i can find in Maori mythology.
"The five Maui brothers were the foster children of Pani ,who secretly give birth to kumara, the introduced sweet potatoe, after being
impregnated by Ronga.
Ronga had stolen the seed of kumara from the spirit world and concealed it in his penis. Maui-po-tiki was determined to find the
source of the new food. Spying on Pani ,he saw her standing in a stream, kumara falling into the water from between her legs. The
horrified Maui told his brothers that they had been eating tu-tae (excrement),the food of the dead, whereupon they fled to the far
reaches of polynesia.
from the book Tangata Whenua.
pub-2015 authers Atholl Anderson,Judith Binney,Aroha Harris.
Yes this is the Maui who fished up the north island.
"Scientific discovery show that the deep history of Maori and Maoriori goes back to the last ice age. ,when the first modern humans
reached the pacific coasts of Asia around 60,000yrs ago."

T. W. 2015

This is what is in Papa's eye.
A legend tells how the two oldest sons of Rangi and Papa noticed that there was not enough atmosphere on earth. The reason they
worked out was that Rangi (The Sky) and Papa (The Earth ) were holding each other too tightly. So the sons cut of the arms and legs
of Rangi and Papa . The atmosphere grew wider and the clouds parted and the sun came out. You can still see the blood of Rangi and
Papa. It is the red in the sky in the evening and morning.

There may be traces of a Tiki or a Koru in this photograph.
Genetics

"Diversity in island south-east Asian genetics complicates precise comparison of origins and movements relative to Taiwan .But the
polynesian motif ,which reaches its highest frequency among Maori and accounts for most polynesian mtDNA,is a particularly
important DNA marker. In an ancestral form, it exsisted in island southeast Asia . Subsequent mutations gave rise to a premotif,
probably in eastern Indonesia or Melanesia, perhaps the Bismark Archipelaco ,which in turn produced the polynesian motif around
5,000 years ago. The paternal P-33 haplotype common in Polynesia also arose in the west pacific about 4,500 years ago from earlier
Melanesian types. Thus,Polynesian genetic lineages had developed some of their most distinctive features in the west Pacific long
before Austronesian migration from Taiwan. There is evidence, however,of a close Y chromosome (haplogroup03a2) connection
between Ami (formosan)and Polynesian males, and similar connections are showing up in analysis of autosomal DNA. Recent dating
of autosomal DNA indicates that incoming Asians groups began mixing with local Melanesian supports close links with Taiwan , but
genetic contributions were drawn from across island southeast Asia , suggesting that some Austronesian speakers migrated south
west around mainland southeast Asia before turning east along the Indonesian chain."
This picture is really scary and it will be left for others to identify .

The Limestone Dam or Alter.
Around three hundred metres away and directly facing the crypt . Three small streams meet and at one stage must have trickled
through the limestone . What has been created is a limestone rock dam or alter and all along the front side are small caves filled with
fantastic calcium carbonate formations.

The caves should be protected as so should the whole site. Instead cows, sheep and goats are damaging everything . There is
evidence that people are taking pieces of the calcium carbonate formations.

The limestone that the Peak and Craggy Range is made of was deposited around 80 million years ago when this part of the North
Island was under water. The sea reached all the way in land as far as the Ruahine Ranges. As the Pacific plate pushed up the Australia
plate in a series of earth quakes and tsunami . As the tsunami raced back out to sea a lot of pulverised shells stuck on the hills . This
is evident at Te Mata Peak . The NW side is very fine limestone and crushed shells . The south eastern side there are larger and more
complete shells evident.

Here is a selection of rocks in front of the Crypt . It would provide an interesting study on there own as some are most definitly
marker stones.

There are parts of these hills that have been cut away as can be seen here.

A shallow cave has been cut out of the limestone. The shape reminds me of the Moai on Easter Island. I believe the Rapa-Nui cut out
the Moai roughly the right shape, then carved the exact shape from the stone that they had cut out.

The Pyramid shaped hills.

In the late afternoon sunshine the crypt's shadow creates a mythical creature out of the land.

The limestone has obliterated this rudder shaped object. This should be tested for organic traces to find out what the object was
made of.

A lighter coloured limestone abuts a darker limestone . The marks on the lighter limestone could well be a Proto language.

Conclusions.
- H.B. Archeology N.Z Archeology Historic Places should authorize this site.
-This site should be recognised as the most important in New Zealand . For the existence of a Megalithic Stone People.
-Full protection of this site must be given or more damage from the vandals will wipe all evidence of a fascinating historical past.
-A group of concerned protectorate should be formed from the local Councils , The farmer , Tourism H.B.Archeology N.Z and Craggy
Range Owners . All of these people stand to gain from such an amazing attraction.
A visitors centre should be built.
welcome to visitors and conduct tours of the site in a manner that would not disrupt anything of importance.
The streams have been diverted to supply water for livestock.
-An interest in this part of the country (between Te Mata Peak and just south of Waimarama) would i am sure produce an
abundance of historical finds.

This i found in bush near Waimarama . I may be wrong but i think it is Tane Mahuta .
