During one of my walking retreats into nature, this saying carried resounding resonance and meaning. There I was, nearing a crosspath, and I decided on the one not always taken. Typicallly it was the other. This decision was a metaphor for my life, for the decisions I've made, the lives I've touched, the life path I've taken, the causes I've helped. Though not always the best of choices, I learned from each one how to discern the meaning of acting on impulse or being led ong>byong> the inner voice within.
