Reflecting up<strong>on</strong><br />
a dual m<strong>on</strong>ologue disguised as a c<strong>on</strong>versati<strong>on</strong>,<br />
I recall some<strong>on</strong>e from my distant past<br />
sharing the Yogi Berra saying," When you<br />
get to the fork in the road, take it." During<br />
<strong>on</strong>e of my walking retreats into nature, this<br />
saying carried resounding res<strong>on</strong>ance and<br />
meaning. There I was, nearing a crosspath,<br />
and I decided <strong>on</strong> the <strong>on</strong>e not always taken.<br />
Typicallly it was the other. This decisi<strong>on</strong><br />
was a metaphor for my life, for the decisi<strong>on</strong>s<br />
I've made, the lives I've touched, the<br />
life path I've taken, the causes I've helped.<br />
Though not always the best of choices, I<br />
learned from each <strong>on</strong>e how to discern the<br />
meaning of acting <strong>on</strong> impulse or being led<br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>by</str<strong>on</strong>g> the inner voice within. To our readers,<br />

listen to that quiet voice that urges us to live<br />
a life of greater meaning, opportunities and<br />
